I am so delighted and pleased with my experience with Dr. Bassichis and his entire team that I felt compelled to share my positive experience.
I have been going to Dr. Bassichis for the past few years for Botox injections and sometimes fillers and his work has always been excellent and consistent. During this time, I have had ongoing conversations with Dr. Bassichis with regards to going down the path of a face lift surgery. As you could imagine, I was extremely nervous about the possibility of surgery on my face! It was a huge decision and expense for me.
I already knew Dr. Bassichis is a highly regarded and sought out facial surgeon, however, when selecting a surgeon, it was also very important for me to feel well taken care of throughout the entire surgery process and afterwards - that I would be in “good hands”. Was it possible to find the best facial plastic surgeon who also runs a thriving and growing practice (good sign) and is able to provide caring, personal attention to his/her patients? Yes, it is possible! Dr. Bassichis is that and more!
Even though his office is full of patients he always took the extra time to listen to my concerns and patiently answering all of my questions (for the past two years), as I went back and forth wrestling with the idea of “going under the knife”. During our conversations, he was professional and thorough with his explanations of the various procedure options and extremely patient. He never pushed his opinions on me and made me feel secure, safe and comfortable with my ultimate decision to proceed with surgery.
He was encouraging and supportive with my initial decision for a less invasive procedure and also displayed the same level of encouragement and guidance when I ultimately decided for a more extensive surgery. I never felt pushed or swayed by Dr. Bassichis, which has not been the case with other surgeons I interviewed. He has a calm way about him that is confident and reassuring – confident in his abilities, not in any arrogant way (another good sign). I found he and his entire staff genuinely cared about my comfort and happiness throughout the entire surgical process. They showed a very high-level of professionalism and provided excellent attention to every detail.
Today, I am one week post operation and I feel terrific! My surgery experience was top-notch at the surgery center (amazing facility and staff). The results of my surgery are already impressive (even with some residual facial bruising). I can see a refreshed and youthful appearance without looking “overdone” or “pulled” or “unnatural”. Dr. Bassichis did an amazing job! I am extremely happy with the results and actually noticed my boost in confidence in my professional life (even as I am working remote this week)!
Needless to say, I highly recommend Dr. Bassichis...

In my experience, these are really bad and dangerous people. They lied to me or at least gave a bad impression of cosmetic surgery where the utility of surgery was exaggerated and risks downplayed when I was a mentally ill child, encouraged me to have surgery, even elected a specific surgery for me to have implying that I was ugly and that something was wrong with me, disfigured me, and ruined my life.
Later, they made fake reviews including a review in my mom's name, mocked me, taunted me, bullied me, etc.
At one point, they even tried to have me charged with a crime when I naturally reacted angrily to their provocative behavior. This may be a bit awkward to say but they're a veritable case study in white-collar psychopathy, and successful at preying on vulnerable people and rippin 'em off. Almost anybody who does plastic surgery for a living seems to have a personality disorder.
Everybody makes mistakes but you might hope that the people who are entrusted with performing surgery on your face wouldn't be such dismal and sordid examples of humanity. Compassionate? Ha, not really. More like callous, narcissistic, grandiose, insulting, abusive, sadistic, cruel, dysempathic, ethnocentric, unhelpful. This strategy must work well for them because I think they live in a really expensive mansion now, expensive like you wouldn't believe.
To be fair and generous to them, even though they wouldn't do the same for me, I will say that in hindsight I probably didn't take ideal care of the surgical wound maybe because I was ashamed of what I was doing and poorly informed on post-op care, so this possibly contributed to the terrible scarring, but others have reported bad "results" too so I know I'm not the only one in this predicament.
I call my own scar the bite of Bassichis. It's a mangled, depressed scar even after many years of treatments like retinol and dermaneedling. The surrounding skin doesn't even move and fold like normal skin does because the scar tissue is dense and fibrous so it interferes with that process and gives me a very unnatural and asymmetrical appearance.
It's not attractive and I had no idea this would be my fate, so there never was informed consent in reality. I wonder why all these posts with glowing reviews don't include pictures of their newfound beauty. Aesthetic goals not achieved. Good luck on your plastic...
Read moreI went to Dr Bassichis for a consult to determine which non-surgical procedure/ treatment he would advise for elasticity, pore size and overall aging (more sagging- I don't really have wrinkles). I'm 42 years old and follow a daily regimen, receive Botox every 4-6 months in my brow and try to invest in a MD level facial treatment every 12-18 months (such as a laser, microneedling, series of peels, etc) I asked him to advise me as if money isn't a concern and if he were me which treatment would be the best results. He told me two things; filler in my high cheek bone/ under eye and pico-sure laser treatment (package of 3). I got the filler that day and scheduled the 3 pico-sure treatments. To my shock and surprise, the filler literally lasted 5 days (costing me $1500). This was a huge disappointment! I was hopeful that the $2,000 pick-sure would provide me with better results. The treatments have to be spaced out so it's been 9 months since my first one and I'm so sad that I literally can't see one difference in my skin. My before and after photos look almost identical. The technician, Jennifer (who was super nice and friendly) thought she could see a slight pore reduction but I also started a new Retinol line by Obagi at the same time which I think did more for my skin than the filler and laser (only cost $75). I did tell Jennifer how disappointed I was. She was understanding and offered to take photos a second time, which were the same in my opinion. In the end, there was no resolution offered, no concern over the fact that I spent $3500 with this doctors office and had no results. I'm just so frustrated but feel like this probably happens a lot and clients are just expected to accept that results vary. I think "no results" should warrant a customer service resolution where the client feels they received the services/ results they were sold. I don't usually post reviews but wonder if others experienced the same as me and I'd want to know before spending a large sum of money. I've been to lots of medspas, dermatologist and laser centers in Dallas and over all this was my worst...
