My daughter and I shopped for a homecoming/prom dress here yesterday. I could not be more pleased with our experience. The store is overwhelmingly at first, but the staff let you go looking without pouncing and hovering. Lindsey Mizell, the best sales consultant, found us in the racks with dresses in our hands. She offered to start a changing room for us and no pressure to minimize our selections. When my daughter started trying on dresses she was unsure about coming out to show. Lindsey quickly made her feel at ease and began clipping dresses the way they would look with alterations. This makes a huge difference in the decision. Dress after dress Lindsey was patient and kind and no pressure. She offered solutions and accessories and time to snap pics in the dress for helping dad at home see dress too. A final choice and decision time, Lindsey whisked us to the back stage with beautiful lighting to seal the selection. She was not done yet. She took my daughter to alterations and obtained an estimate. When I said we needed to eat before a final decision, she was happy to hold the dress. We returned about 30 min later for the dress. Lindsey was with us again thru the sale, alterations, with every concern I voiced she applied her knowledge and skills with the tailor to communicate the plan. Lindsey provides door to door service and managed more than one girl at a time without missing a beat. I spent 5 times my original budget yesterday and my budget is low compared to many of the clients I observed. Lindsey did not take advantage of us, she took care of us. The dress was nothing that my daughter came in looking for and everything she could not have imagined without Lindsey and her expertise. The customer service this young lady gave us was impeccable and I hope this review drives business her way. UPDATE:

My daughter's Step Mother picked the dress up from alterations today. We are not pleased at all! We paid $604 for the dress because we were promised that alterations would replace missing sequins from the outer layer of the dress. There were many missing. This was told to me was free of charge.

We also paid $175 ( which was talked down from $225) to have just the front bottom hem raised and straps shorted in length. The bottom was ok, but straps were still too long!

Had I known that the alterations people are completely separate from the dress shop (meaning if alterations not done correctly, dress shop does nothing) even though they rush you straight over to alterations and promise everything will be taken care of, I would not have purchased the dress! As the dresses are sold with no returns or refunds!!

Seems to me this is a breach of contract (which would be on the part of dress store sales person, as she made the promise that ultimately made the dress purchase) and if not made right on a casual level, will be raised to an authoritive level quickly!

$779 for a dress missing sequins is extreme. And we would not have made the purchase without the dress sales lady promising us it was "no big deal, alterations will replace the sequins free of charge."

This place is absolutely fantastic, just awesome. It's very very rare to go looking for a prom dress for plus size and have several beautiful gowns to choose from . Now let me go back to entering the store. We were greeted by two smiling faces they welcomed us in. We were then assisted by a wonderful Queen by the name of Althea Davis that makes you feel like your in a mystical closet. She made the experience so extra girl"ish". Okay I made that word up. She had the three of us crying as my granddaughter walked the runway. Althea Davis gave us a beautiful life long memory that we will never forget. To the owners of this Boutique I called her a Queen because she treated us like Royalty. Her customer service was and is Royalty. It's genuine and you can't teach people that. What she has, that's a God giving talent to read people the way she does. Thanks for hiring wonderful people. I will recommend this Boutique to everyone I speak to. We drove almost an hour to get to this shop. It was so, so worth it. Oh yeah the prices are very good as well. We stayed well within in our budget. Please stop in and just look at what they have.
