Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Dalton

Wow! This was the most DISAPPOINTING experience I’ve EVER had with a Chipotle!!! Considering this restaurant is BRAND NEW, you’re already skimping your customers on product. Let’s see, I paid $32 for 2 bowls - the rice barely covered the bottom of the container, so ridiculous that I even mentioned it - that’s the first INGREDIENT - already not a good start - beans - I think there was 50% (easily) more juice that went into the bowls - the “steak” wasn’t even distinguishable - is that even steak?! I can’t tell because the HALF SPOON we got per bowl was lost in bean juice - GRILLED VEGGIES - WHERE?! It’s 4:30pm on Thursday (Dalton payday for most) and when I asked “are they cooking more veggies?” I was told “NOT TODAY”… not today?! What about your dinner customers, not to mention your VEGETARIAN customers?! The “queso” was a thick BLOB that was literally blobbed onto the center of my VERY SMALL bowls - but wait, WERE NOT DONE!!! Corn salsa - he was scraping the pan trying to get salsa out - it was EMPTY - I asked, do you have more? Oh, you want more? ID LIKE A SCOOP ON EACH PLEASE - not the 3 corn kernels divided between TWO bowls - THATS A LITERAL STATEMENT! Lettuce on one - a PINCH between two fingers - WHAT? Who’s running this place?! Where’s the manager?! AND you charge extra for less then 15 chips! You do understand that DosBros is about 2 miles from you, right? You do understand that at this rate, you’ll be gone just like Moe’s. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Tell you one better, when I get home, I’ll take a picture of this, then tomorrow I’ll order the EXACT SAME THING from DosBros and we’ll let Google see. DON’T waste your money on Chipotle - go to DosBros - bet they have actual STEAK and GRILLED VEGETABLES. Bad, bad, bad - and FYI I’ve NEVER left a negative review of any business on Google. This Chipotle is by far the most disorganized and poorly maintained location in our patch. My burrito was sloppily made and wrapped so poorly that it began falling apart immediately. What was even more frustrating is that the service manager watched it happen and didn’t step in to correct it at all.

I had to ask three times just to get a normal amount of mild salsa, each time I was given barely any. The entire prep line was a mess, covered in sour cream and other ingredients, and the lettuce was wilted and unappealing. Dishes were piled high, completely covering the grill area, which made the whole environment feel chaotic and unsanitary.

The guacamole was also poorly made, with large unmashed chunks throughout, making it unpleasant to eat. Employees seemed distracted, some were filming TikToks or scrolling through social media on their phones. Two team members were clearly dating and were all over each other while working on the line, which felt unprofessional and inappropriate.

I don't mind paying a decent amount for good food (three meals for $42.27) and that's why we went to Chipotle. We've always enjoyed it. This location, however...a mess! The staff didn't care about the customer's experience at all. They didn't care how the food looked or tasted.

I sent my daughters in to place their to-go order and had no idea what a horrible meal they got until it was too late.

They were out of: Cheese Soda (all of them) Rice The beans and queso were so dried out, they couldn't even scoop them into my girls' plates. No one offered an apology or an excuse or the opportunity to get more out for them. They basically acted like it was just too bad.

I filled out the online survey with the survey code but conveniently their website only allows 200 letters per review.
