Everything I have ever ordered here has been BAD to the point of inedible! I am taking into account the fact that I have some food quirks, as in I don’t like beef or cheese, but the items that I have ordered were made with chicken, which is fairly common, and the cheese was easy to leave off (not cooked into the food), which has been easy for the other Mexican restaurants at which I have eaten. At Tijuana’s, however, they apparently leave their shredded chicken sitting in water till needed, which would be fine, except that when they use it, apparently they do not drain it at all. They just pull it out of the water and plop it onto whatever you have ordered! I have had both a taco salad and a crunchy taco that dripped liquid when I tried to eat it, and fell apart. And, trying to make the best of these situations, I was going to eat just the chicken with a fork, but it was tough and tasteless. Obviously, after making a few attempts to eat there with friends who like the place for some reason, I have given up and don’t go anymore. The service is sub-parr, with little attempt to help the situation on the one complaint I made. Plus, there is absolutely NO ambience at the downtown location, which would be OK if the food was good. There are too many good Mexican restaurants here, with good food and great service, and that try to make the customers happy, for me to waste my time and money here, and...
Read moreWe have been to this restaurant times. Should have never went back after the first time, but wanted to give them a second chance. The first time was horrible. They gave us our food and never brought out my 6 year olds food. Their excuse was that people never ordered chicken tenders. After waiting 45 min. We left our food sitting there and went somewhere else. The second time there was no one at the front to say hello etc. My husband went to pick up an order and was standing there for 10 minutes before anyone noticed. I don't know how this place is still open. They have terrible customer service. Will never forget...
Read moreWorst food!!!!! Please don't give them your money. The cheese dip is melted Velveeta cheese. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and it was absolutely disgusting. The chicken inside the chimichanga was canned shredded chicken and had that canned sodium smell. We took one bite of our food and just paid and left it was that bad. This isn't a serious business and they take advantage of customers. Go to Las Palmas on Walnut Ave, Dalton, Ga 30720 right off the interstate. Las Palmas is a real mexican restaurant who serve their customers with the real ingredients and...
