Lucky's Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Daly City

I found this place through Google Maps, looking for a place to grab a quick lunch. It was only 8 minutes away from where I had an appointment, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's located right near some fast food places, so if it was closed or didn't look good, I could still get something to eat. I walked in and was immediately impressed with how clean it looked, and the food options available. I ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich, which came with fries. Both were really good! Stumbled upon this gem while looking for placed to have breakfast near by our motel. I highly reccomend one of their breakfast sandwiches on a croissant! They were huge! I had a latte which was delicious as well. We ordered a Vietnamese sandwich and a chocolate croissant for later. They were so good as well. The bakery was very clean. The guy running the front (I am assuming he is the owner) was so friendly. I wish i was able to try all of the things. Dissapointment, only word to describe this establishment.

They close early, refuse customer orders, and waste your time. I came in at 1:30PM when he clearly had a written sign saying open until 2PM.

Unprofessional business that advertises open until 2PM.

If you want to turn customers away at 1:30PM just say you close at 1:30, it'll save people from wasting time going to your restaurant to then be turned away. Not me, I've already decided it's not worth returning.
