I used to love coming here. It was recently renovated, but the place was a mess. The woman taking my order either didn't understand my order (or anyone else's) or was just programmed to up sell everything. I ordered two cheeseburgers with grilled onions and pickles and one order of fries. She asked if we wanted cheese; I said "yes, cheese on the cheeseburgers." She asked if we wanted fries; I said "yes, 1 order of fries." She asked if that was everything; I said "yes, and this is to go." She asked of I wanted a drink; I said "no thank you, that's everything." She asked if I wanted two orders of fries; I said "no, that's everything." Then she asked if I wanted some pie; I said "nope." She asked if I wanted a milkshake, and having already declined a drink, I was about ready to just tell her to forget everything when the guy behind me said "I think he's done ordering." The line was long, and she was asking every single person the same thing.
Some dude ordered breakfast, and she asked if he wanted cheese on it. He was like "cheese? On the toast?"
One cashier, one cook, one person assembling orders at noon. It took almost 25 minutes to get my order. The burgers did not have grilled onions, but they did have pickles. They were way overloaded with that sauce, and it just seemed slapped together. I had to take them apart to redo them, just so it was stacked well. This is when I noticed that the tomato slices had the stem part. Ugh. Huge pet peeve.
The fries were horrible. I remember them being so good that I'd almost eat the entire order while driving home. These were soggy and cold, as if they'd been sitting on a plate for some time. I didn't even eat them. I just threw them out.
I won't be back...
Read moreThe hamburgers were great, (but I almost didn't eat mine). Girl who took our order was rude and never greeted us or smiled. We had just come from Funston Beach, and we needed to use the restrooms. One of the restrooms had an orange cone outside, the other one didn't have soap. I told this girl (all the other employees heard me too) about the soap, and I waited outside the restroom for anyone to refill it... I waited and waited... and they all saw me standing there, and no body came to refill it. My second order was ready. So I took it outside to my kids (they were waiting outside with our dog) and came back in, thinking they had already refill the soap. They hadn't. There was no way I was going to use the bathroom and not wash my hands and then touch and eat my hamburger! I waited again and this time no employees were in sight. I walked around looking for them. They were all in their cellphones inside the "break room" I told "them" again (The girl that took our order, always making direct eye contact with me, those three times), not one of them moved! Someone else with a different uniform color told me to go to the one restroom with the Orange cone outside. I did, I thanked him and left to eat my hamburger outside. I also found out later, my son didn't get his onions sauteed, nor put on the side. I really hated...
Read moreFOOD - Ordered two pancakes. Got Smucker's syrup with them and two small aluminum packaged butter bars. Good size of pancakes.
FOOD ISSUE - Butter bars melted by the time I got home and leaked all over the bag and box. It made getting to the food disgusting and a cleaning job.
The pancakes, or butter, or syrup had an aftertaste that ruined the experience of enjoying a very simple breakfast,
ENVIRONMENT - Seating is available. Parking is available but scarce.
ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES - Seating is very scarce and because the establishment is very small, it makes sitting down and eating uncomfortable and "tight".
The floors were dirty. Although, I'll admit it was raining outside.
Every single one of the tables had dishes and food on them. Obviously, no attempt was made at cleaning up and preparing for others to sit.
The space was cold and no attempt at creating a warming environment with decor was made.
Service was fine. It wasn't any more than just ordering online and picking it up. Frankly, I feel more welcomed at my local McDonalds' Drive Thru where I don't even have to get off the car.
Overall, I will personally not return to...
