Quickly — Restaurant in Daly City

I am really fond of Quickly. It offers fine drinks, snacks, and boba. The location here at Serramonte has proved to be just fine, too. However, the last time I ordered something from this location, my drink wasn’t fully mixed. I had ordered a strawberry black tea with boba, and when I took my first sip, my taste buds were bombarded with the pure strawberry syrup that was settled at the bottom. At first, I thought they had done my drink wrong, but I realized the problem and properly mixed the syrup with the tea using my straw. This was odd, because while it is a common practice to swirl your boba drinks a couple of times to mix the contents before putting the straw in, this was never required of Quickly drinks before. The product was always ready to consume once it was given to you.

I usually make a visit here before exiting the mall for a quick bite and for a refresher. This place is a plus in the mall, because it’s a cool little spot that is different from the surrounding eatery’s nearby. At times they can be packed especially in the weekends since families come here with kids. Their menu consists of traditional milk tea, slushies, specialty drinks, snacks, rice bowls, etc. All of their items are made from scratch which is always a plus and I do not mind the wait since I am a very patient person. You can either order from one of their kiosks or order from the counter when they are not that busy. The staff have incredibly terrible attitude, with one of them even having an airpod in one ear. The same guy said nothing as we ordered and after. Rude. Worst Quickly’s service I’ve ever received. Another time, They couldn’t find my drink and rummaged through their pile of receipts even though I ordered through their kiosk and received a message that my order was ready.
