Hannah’s Bistro — Restaurant in Danvers

I called in a take-out order... 20 minutes later I arrived to pick it up. Upon entering, a woman I believe to be the owner yelled from the grill asking my name. I told her and she said my order would be ready in a few minutes. After waiting an additional 23 minutes in the store, she handed me my order. No "thank you," no "sorry for your wait," nothing... Just handed it to me and looked blankly at me.

The food was average, it's kind of hard to screw up eggs... but the service was horrible. My advice to the owner would be to hire more people and take lessons to improve your customer service skills. As a small business owner myself, I know first-hand the importance of repeat customers and word of mouth advertising... I can't be the only person who won't be returning to "Hannah's...

Hannah's makes my favorite breakfast sandwiches and desserts in the area. The Portuguese muffins and jalapeño cheddar bagels are especially good. The sandwiches are much more reasonably priced than other places. You can't go wrong with any of the desserts, but the cookie sandwich is my favorite. The staff is friendly and welcoming and grabbing breakfast there is always a nice way to start the day!

Edit: I had to add that their breakfast burrito (with homefries) and French toast breakfast sandwich are excellent! I also love iced coffee with their homemade chocolate sauce. It's great that they're hiring additional staff and now...

I stopped in here for a breakfast meeting and I am so happy I did! The staff is so super friendly and the coffee was tasty! (Oatmilk latte 😋) I caved and ordered a breakfast sandwich because all the savory aromas were just so comforting... and honestly I don't know what sorcery the chef was able to conjure but my veggie sausage, egg and cheese on a grilled Portuguese muffin was SO FLAVORFUL I forgot it wasn't meat. It was so good! Thanks guys for a great spot with super good food and friendly coffeeshop vibes. I appreciate you and can't wait to try some of the gorgeous pastries next...
