Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Daphne

HORRIBLE customer service. EARLIER I was trying to place an order through the app and they only give an option for the home wrecker bowl and not the regular bowl which is obviously their way of getting more money out of you. The home wrecker bowl comes with guacamole(which I do not want) and they charge more for that bowl and that’s the only difference between the reg and the home wrecker. RIP OFF The next issue I have is that they don’t list all their options of toppings on the app. For example I want Lime rice and they only offer seasoned rice but when my husband went in today to pick our food up they had lime rice. When I tried to call it ring like normal and went to voicemail. It’s literally 3pm on a weekday so it shouldn’t be crazy busy so I called again. This time someone answers and hangs up automatically, not saying a thing. So rude! So of course I call back a few more times and they do the same thing. I hate to assume so I will say that I’m gathering that Moe’s on HWY 98 in Daphne has so much business that they don’t need anymore. I hate to leave a bad review like this but customers service in our country has went out the window and they should be held...

I am a Armed Service member who has just arrived back overseas from deployment and newly arrived to the area. I just left Moes Southwest grill in Daphne, Alabama. What a horrible experience from the General Manager Erik on top of it I did not receive my bottled drinks that was purchased. I ordered food to go. I walked into the establishment with my mask, kept my 6 feet social distance. While in line there were people in front of me and many more individuals behind me. Erik started my order and in the middle of taking my order, the guy tells me to step all the way back. I complied no problem, but I couldnt help but notice he did not talk to anyone else this way. All the other customers had NO masks on and was right on the counter ordering. He said nothing to anyone before me or after me for other families of a different race with masks. To be fair the servers working behind the counter were very nice, and the food was out in a timely manner, but the food was very BLAND and the chips were stale.

Literally all of it. There was nothing special about the taste of anything, including the salsa!

If I absolutely had to eat this food because nothing else was available, I would, but the chips provided with my wrap were literally cold and stale.

Keep in mind, I used to work in the food industry in a similar type of restaurant. I understand what a place like this goes through just to operate.

This, HOWEVER, is not a place I will run to in order to satisfy a craving. In fact, it is unlikely I will visit there again as it was so unremarkable. Rethink your recipe's Moes!

Go to El Mexicano. You will get a better meal with fresh ingredients, hot chips, delicious salsa, and all this for possibly even less money for sit down service.
