Dunkin' — Restaurant in Darby Township

I’ve been a long time patron of Dunkin’ Donuts (over 20 years) and I’ll always choose Dunkin before any other spot but the service myself and mother experienced today (4/16/25 around 11:45 am) had me at a loss for words. First off, in the drive thru area there is no trash receptacles except for after you receive your order and pulling ahead near the doorway. I haven’t been there for a couple of years (I moved a state south) by was in the area and we stopped for coffee and sandwiches. I was surprised to see a familiar face, as I used to be a regular and said hello, got my app scanned and paid. I had a coffee I was done with (still Dunkin) and asked if he could toss it in the trash and this dude got such an attitude and told me I should have thrown it out when I was at home…seriously!! And then had the audacity to repeat himself after I said I had it after I left home and said it $5 more for him to toss it and had an attitude while saying it 🤦🏽‍♀️ never have I ever dealt with this type of foolishness. It either yeah sure or no we can’t, but to say some bs like that is just baffling to me. I’m glad I don’t come to this location anymore and I’ll make sure to stay away from this one from now on if I ever happen to be...

I ordered on the go Saturday, March 3, the day after major wind caused power outages everywhere...

Point is, they were open via drive-thru but didn't have donuts, even though I had ordered two. They told me to come back the next day and get my donuts. Two days later, I came back and they threw in an extra donut.
