Firehouse Subs Davie — Restaurant in Davie

Love the subs since I've eaten here many times. Tonight my wife and I got to the establishment at 8:45p.m. And 90% of the tables had the chairs up on them. We proceeded to go in and placed an order of two subs. One large one medium. We sat down on one of the remaining tables to wait for our subs. The guy that made the subs brought it to the table in a bag!! As he was bringing the bag one of the girls (the shortest with long black hair) said "they should know what time we close". The guy proceeded practically kicking my wife and I out of the store while it was still 8:55 p.m. And said "maybe next time"... Needless to say, there won't be a next time especially at this location. When we got home we pulled the subs out of the bag and I noticed they gave me two mediums when I clearly ordered a large for myself following by saying how hungry I was. Not only one of the worst experience I've ever had in a food establishment, but also the most embarrassing one as my wife and I...

Horrible customer service. I ordered online through the app with two separate orders. They gave me one of my orders and then refused to make me my second one "because the order didn't go through the system" even though I showed them the email receipt as well as the in app receipt. They refused to make my order or offer me a refund saying it was an online issue and that I needed to figure it out myself. After that, when I asked to talk to the manager, the manager had the audacity to talk back to me, call me racial slurs, and offered no solutions whatsoever. I have never seen this low of customer service in my life. I hope that this manager gets fired as she has absolutely no right managing anything. In case ownership sees this, the manager is the black women with glasses. Located on the corner of University and Stirling, this Firehouse Subs is generally pretty consistent. We ordered ahead in the app and it said it would be ready at 6:20. Was ready about 5 minutes earlier so that was nice. It’s always kind of empty in there but somehow they have been in this plaza for a long time. It took a while for either of the employees to acknowledge me being there but I guess cause they were both busy making sandwiches.

The sandwiches last night were fine but nothing special. Order was accurate and they remembered the pickle which other locations usually forget. The bread was just toasty at the front and back end of the sandwich rather than all throughout. I can’t tell if they put less meat on than they have in the past but seemed like maybe so.
