I have been a customer here for over 10 years. Getting mostly delivery about 3-4 times a week. To say they have changed for the worst would be an understatement. We know things are messed up with Covid, getting ingredients delivered etc. But enough is enough with them. I gave them a month when things went down hill FAST. In the 4 delivery orders placed the first week of June 2022 a total of 7 items were wrong, missing and cold. I was out of town April & May 2022. The portions seemed to have dropped in half but NO reduction in price. In fact 3 items we were charged more then the newest menu and posted menu quoted. This is illegal and considered criminal Theft By Deception, Credit Card Fraud and tuft. I give them my credit card when ordering and due to the world today. Always asked if there is any price changes which the answer was always”NO”!!! It is a criminal offense to charge more then listed prices. One tip off they started deliveries and either when confronted where is the receipt “don’t understand” or “must have forgot it”. When after the third time in a row I checked my card on line and found the approximately 25% higher charge. Since they were pending I called to express my concern. She said the correct prices would be the actual charge. We order the same items for each order. One days the items are one group and another order may be difficult then the last order but we ALWAYS order the same items. Let me try this again. We have 4 groups of items we call in on any particular day. So whether it be our Shrimp and Lobster sauce plus day or another day Pork Lomain we always get the same group of items when we order certain entrees. The second week we just order twice out of loyalty after all these years. Again much smaller portions, cold, 2 items missing, I completely wrong. No Shrimp and Lobster sauce where we ordered as usual 2 dinners and both were missing. The woman on the phone was extremely rude, didn’t want to do anything to make this right and I said on the phone when ordering “Please don’t forget my receipt”. No receipt. The next week I called in my order. Asked for the receipt and items they missed from last orders, since no credit was issued. What they didn’t know is I was at Target across the street. I came in there about 15 minutes later as my order was being taken out to their delivery car. We brought it back in. NO receipt, 1 item missing, 2 items wrong and none of the items that were missing from pass orders they billed me for. I didn’t take the order and they said they canceled it. Of course I was video the whole thing. It appeared as pending and I called them and told it wouldn’t go through. 3 days later it posted so I disputed the charge and having enough of lies, false billing, billing for different then listed prices etc I filled criminal charges. It may not be a violent crime. But it’s still theft and enough is enough. STAY AWAY cold food, missing food, charges higher then listed prices, rude and nasty. If you notice most new items eviews are bad and doesn’t respond to any...
Read moreThought it would be nice to treat my 90+ year old mom to a restaurant experience on a Sunday @ 12:30pm... we were the only two customers seated in the restaurant...two t.v.’s on plus a radio playing mostly advertisements. My blood pressure began to rise after asking politely twice if the sound on the t.v.’s could be muted since no one was watching sports or news? Nearly 20 minutes later, ALL sound was muted...lovely. Still waiting to be served...noticing take-out & delivery was popping while we were sitting in a silent room with a bowl of stale Chinese noodles. Ordered lobster & chicken for mom, asked if the veggies could be cooked a bit more tender for her dish, not mine please...I ordered shrimp with veggies crisp tender. Thirty minutes of waiting & still the only customers in the restaurant...finally our food arrived... lobster was overcooked & like a rubber band, mom was unable to eat it, the chicken was ok & the veggies tender. My shrimp were cooked nicely however the veggies all over-cooked like moms. Both dishes tasted the same, both had identical sauces. Mom barely touched her food so I asked to take it home. Waited too long for the check as a few customers began to arrive... finally got into the car to leave and mom asked “Are we bringing the food I didn’t eat home?” I realized the server never brought it to the table! Went back inside to retrieve the takeout food. Maybe their curbside dining is...
Read moreMy hubby and I have been very happy to see things beginning to open up after the quarantine. This evening we had a craving for Chinese food, but most of the local Chinese restaurants did not offer dine-in service, but luckily we found that the Pink Buddha did. We arrived with our appetite in place, and ready to enjoy our meal. We had high hopes that we would enjoy the meals they offered, and I must say the food was amazing. What we did not anticipate was the level of cleanliness and sanitation they are practicing. This was the sixth restaurant we've been to since the quarantine, and I can say that I felt safer eating at this restaurant than any of the others I've had since the quarantine. Everything was sparkly clean, we were greeted at the front door with a smile and two pumps of hand sanitizer for each of us, led to a table with a great deal of distance between the parties, and every person working there had a mask and a face shield. When it was time to leave we were personally escorted to the side door in order to make a safe exit. It was very obvious that they were aware of every patron they had, and moved quickly to ensure that everyone knew what to do and what not to do. I could not find a single smudge on any dish, glass or flatware. Thanks again to all there because my husband and I thoroughly...
