La Granja — Restaurant in Davie

I don’t understand how this is rated 4.1 stars. I drove by a million times and decided to try it. I ordered the grilled steak with onions. The steak was dry and lacking flavor/seasoning. The sweet plantains were undercooked. The best thing on the plate was the white rice and the fried yuca.

I also asked for a Sprite and they gave me a can soda. I turned the corner and saw a fountain machine and wondered why they were giving me a canned drink. The drink was room temperature, not even chilled. When I asked them why I was given a can instead of a fountain drink, they said it’s cause I asked for a sprite and the fountain drink only has Sierra Mist. I could give some points to them for giving me what I asked for, but then i remember they alternative wasn’t to ask me if a Sierra Mist was ok, it was to give me a warm can of Sprite.

All in all, pretty bad experience. Won’t be returning ever again.

Smelled delicious on the outside so we wanted to try it out. Inside it was a regular fast food restaurant like a pollo tropical or KFC except they use real utensils. This seems like a Peruvian restaurant due to the menu items. Was disappointed at the inka kola soda I ordered cause the can was dirty. I ordered the green noodles with beef, my mom ordered regular sautéed noodles with beef, my sister got the lomo saltado (skirt steak). For sides we got fried plaintains (mislabeled as fried bananas) and garlic potatoes. Menu look fancy but was hard to order since the screen kept changing and they didn’t offer a paper menu except for the one sample menu at the register. Later we found paper menus by the door on a side table on our way out. Our meal cost $20 a person not including dessert. My sister says that the quality is better in other franchises so I guess there is a quality control issue. None of us could finish our meal cause it was so bland, soggy...

Came today with my husband we ordered $45 worth of food . One of the orders was a fried fish I asked the lady taking the order if it come with onions she said no I still asked her no onions please . When we got the order my fish came with onions and tomatoes I asked why if I specifically said no onions the lady serving said no worries we will change it a young guy came from the kitchen grab the plate put the onions and tomatoes from the fish into a cooler gave the serving lady back the plate while im looking at what they doing she told me your fish is ready I asked her why are you giving me the same fish? I could have taken the onions and tomatoes off myself then she asked me did u expected another us to fry you another fish? I told her never mind just give a refund ! So disrespectful for people’s food and customer service just horrible they trying to get the order so fast they don’t pay attention to detail . I’m not...
