First time ordering (used Uber Eats) It must be noted, I grew up in Europe and so I consider myself a Pita/Gyro expert. I read the reviews so I ordered from here. I got the Chicken Gyro and the Veggie Grape Leaf Wraps. Grape Leaf wraps, delicious! They aren't those giant sausage shaped ones, more like a breakfast sausage style. Thinner and full of flavor! Loved them. I was so excited for my pita, but was suppperrr disappointed. The chicken was so dry there was literally NO MOISTURE in it. Like rock hard and impossible to even chew. C'mon, King of Pita. I thought you were King, not the court jester! If you served this in Greece people would slap you with their baklava! I was like okay, maybe there will be a good amount of Tzatziki to sauce to help. Nope, like a thin smear in the pita. I was so sad. I ended up taking the chicken out, and eating just the veggies in it. Pita itself was great (yay carbs) but the chicken man, I'm still sad about it. If I hadn't ordered those grape leaf wraps, I would've left a 2...

Great Value and great portion for your money, each platter is coming with 2 sides, good flavor and always fresh. I can honestly say I am ordering food from them 2-3 times a week they are called King of pita on Uber.

To tell you they are top of the line middle eastern food.... they are not BUT you not paying as such. You can't compete with a real charcoal grill restaurants but they are as close as you can ask for. The meat flavor and the tenderness 3/5 , the sides such as Almond rice, Mujadra, yellow rice even the steak fries 4/5, the salads are fresh and generous portions 4/5, pita bread 2/5, the Hummus and babaganush 3.5/5.

Overall it is 3.5/5 but if I have to choose between unfair 3 stars or 4 it will be 4 no doubt.

I might be a little more harsh with my criticism as a middle eastern that cook and eat in many middle eastern places.

Keep the...

Extremely Disappointed with the New Cooper City Location.

I've been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, always ordering from their Miramar location with excellent results. However, I decided to try their new spot in Hollywood and unfortunately had a completely different experience.

The entire order was wrong, from start to finish. When I called to politely address the issue, the staff was dismissive, unhelpful, and frankly rude. There was no effort to correct the mistake or show any kind of customer service. It's a shame, because the quality and service I’ve come to expect from the original location was completely absent here.

Cooper City might be a new address for them, but there’s nothing new or welcoming about the way they treat their customers. I won’t be ordering from this...

Lamb kebob lacking flavor and overcooked even tho I asked for medium. Same for the sides. The fatush salad was great tho. Minus 1 point for a register that asks for a tip before you have even gotten or tasted your food. What is the tip for exactly?? For the taste that I havent tasted or to see how long it takes them to make the food which I also havent seen. Can I get my tip back after I get my food if I dont like it or they take too long?? And how do I know that 90% of the tip isnt going to the store owner? Ppl end up tipping out of guilt or fear of retaliation by the food prepper. Thats extortion! End tipping culture and pay your employees what theyre worth instead of preying on the emotions of customers.

Updated Review - unfortunately this place has lost everything that made it special when I first reviewed. The food is not good, the service is not good and the place is dirty dirty dirty. I found out the owners opened a new sit down restaurant nearby and have basically abandoned this spot. Such a shame because they had something special here. Delicious and generously portioned. Lot's of good options for different tastes as well. We were there last night and they were very busy which caused the food to take longer, but the wait was worth it. This will be a five star spot once they get into a rhythm. I'll definitely be back.
