If you’re searching for a restaurant that serves incredible food, provides top-notch service, and celebrates the spirit of America, look no further than Mission BBQ. My recent visit was nothing short of amazing, and this has quickly become one of my favorite dining spots.
First, let’s talk about the food—because wow, it’s outstanding. Mission BBQ is a meat lover’s paradise. The quality of the barbecue here is unmatched, with everything cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The brisket is tender, juicy, and has that perfect smoky crust that barbecue enthusiasts dream about. The pulled pork is equally incredible, with just the right amount of smokiness and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. And the ribs? Fall-off-the-bone perfection with just the right balance of sweet and savory in the glaze.
The sides are just as impressive as the mains. From the creamy mac and cheese to the smoky baked beans and the perfectly seasoned green beans, every bite was a comforting delight. And don’t even get me started on the cornbread—it’s moist, slightly sweet, and pairs beautifully with everything on the menu. Their variety of sauces is another standout feature. Whether you like it sweet, tangy, spicy, or somewhere in between, there’s a sauce that will take your meal to the next level.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere is incredible. The decor pays homage to our nation’s heroes—military, police, firefighters, and first responders—and it’s clear that this is more than just a restaurant; it’s a tribute to those who serve our country and communities. The patriotic theme adds a unique charm to the dining experience, and the daily playing of the National Anthem at noon is a touching tradition that sets Mission BBQ apart.
The service is exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure that your meal is perfect from start to finish. You can tell that they take pride in their work and care deeply about their customers.
Mission BBQ isn’t just about amazing food—it’s about bringing people together to enjoy a meal while celebrating the values that make America great. Whether you’re here for lunch, dinner, or catering an event, you’ll leave with a full belly and a warm heart.
This place is an absolute must-visit. Whether you’re a barbecue enthusiast or just looking for a restaurant that serves incredible food in a welcoming and patriotic environment, Mission BBQ is the place to be. I’m already looking forward to...

My best friend has always raved about Mission BBQ, so I finally decided to stop by the Davie location during my lunch break after picking up my daughter. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I appreciated the patriotic decor honoring military, police, and first responders—a core part of the restaurant’s mission to serve and support American heroes. It’s more than just decor—it’s their way of giving back to those who serve our country.
The cashier was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the turkey and brisket as her personal favorites, so I was excited to try them. My daughter ordered the Jr. Mac and cheese with fries, which she really enjoyed. I went for the Market Sampler with three meats: pulled chicken, turkey, and brisket, paired with collard greens, mac n cheese, and an extra side of baked beans.
Here’s the breakdown:
The pulled chicken was moist and flavorful—definitely the best of the three meats.
The turkey and brisket were a little dry, but that’s where the sauces came to the rescue.
I loved the KC Classic and Florida Gator Bite sauces—perfect for adding a punch of flavor to the meats.
The mac n cheese and baked beans were both rich and satisfying.
The collard greens, on the other hand, fell flat and lacked seasoning.
Even though everything wasn’t a home run, I’m definitely willing to give Mission BBQ another shot. The service was great, the vibe was warm, and there’s still dessert on the menu calling my name...
