First time visitor and Absolutely Not! I will stay with Kung Fu Tea! I only visited because my normal shop was closed. I was hoping to find another shop I could love as well, but my visit here was very disappointing to say the least. First of all I understand that every shops cup size is different and I can deal with that, however, they don't say anything when you walk in, There is a kiosk to order from, says order here, so we did, we ordered 3 different items and 2 of which we asked for extra Boba which they charge for at the kiosk. It has an option to leave a note for the order in which we put Extra Boba Please...In about 10 minutes they called our name for the order, and what we saw was unbelievable, the 2 drinks I paid for the extra Boba, I literally stood there and counted 7 Boba in our Medium drink, and 9 pieces of Boba in what they call an XL drink floating around like toy sailboats in a bath tub!, so I asked the young lady why I didn't get extra Boba I paid for as it was in the order notes, she said we don't actually get the notes for the order....I'm thinking Ummm then why do they have this as part of the ordering process! I then showed the young lady our receipt showing that we paid for all the extra toppings, while being sweet the entire duration, I asked if I can just pay for more Boba, or an additional drink that we didn't need just to get the Boba at the register and she can put it in something and I can add it myself. She basically said no, took my cup, peeled off the already sealed lid, dropped what looked like 4 additional Boba pearls in there and gave it to me.... So the only thing that made sense is, they make you pay for extra stuff that I guarantee you will not get, needless to say, they just need to go ahead and close the business down, Unfortunately Kung Fu Tea is the absolute best, and we have never had to question our order, nor have we ever had to pay for something and then turn around and beg to get it...Ummm no thank you, will never visit again...PS..You should really consider flavoring your Boba, and perhaps the drinks ( Tea) as well, as Im sure watered down vinegar sugar water is not exactly a craver.. Oh and I forgot, they make you give them a tip upfront when you place your order, even though you cant get what you paid for... We were forced to give a tip before we even could see our order, well... here's another tip for ya! Get Right...
Read moreLooking for the best of boba drinks close to Hard Rock Casino,? Look no further. Tiger Sugar is serving up pretty much the best boba drinks I have ever tasted, and it is five minutes (maybe less) from the Casino. All of Tiger Sugar's boba drinks come with two different boba. One is smaller (mini boba) more like the boba you are used to. The other - black sugar boba are larger and softer and so yummy, I will go back again tomorrow to get another drink. That is how irresistible these drinks are. I got the Signature drink - Brave as Tiger that had a black sugared rim, the two types of boba, whole milk, though they have alternative milks available, and cream mousse. The first sip after shaking it up the 15 recommended times was... dreamy! This is a special deliciousness that is way way beyond most boba drinks. My drink was creamy and not too sweet and the black sugar boba was softer and smoother than any boba I've tried. It feels really good in your mouth :) I want to go back and get the Tiger Meets Chocolate that has cocoa powder on top so when you shake it, it becomes like a chocolate milk boba! The woman at the counter was so knowledgeable and described each boba drink on the menu for me and told me her favorites. They have a nice variety of milk boba drinks as well as lots of fruit and herbal tea drinks and also a special Taro drink. Super cool! It is a very welcoming place! I...
Read moreI recently stopped by Tiger Sugar in Hollywood and it did not disappoint. They’re known for their signature Black Sugar Milk Tea with boba and cream mousse—and for a good reason. The whole “tiger stripe” look is as pretty as it is delicious, and the combo of large and small pearls gives such a satisfying texture.
I love how bold and balanced the drink is—it’s creamy, sweet but not overpowering. Plus, they have options like lactose-free milk, and fun flavors like chocolate malt, pudding, matcha, and Strawberry Mochi—definitely worth trying.
The team behind the counter is helpful, especially if you want recommendations. Just one thing to know: this is a takeout-only spot—no cozy seating or dine-in vibes here. Also, customization can be limited—some orders don’t allow adjustments in ice or sugar levels. But honestly, the drink quality more than makes up for it.
If you’re in Hollywood and craving top-notch bubble tea, Tiger Sugar should be your go-to. Just swing by, grab your beautifully crafted...
