I come to this place often by myself and my kids. Today I came, and as I'm walking in. There were three employees by the counter food. The were all laughing and one of the girls was putting a whole fist of food inside her mouth at the customer sight. When they saw me they stopped and walked to the back Laughing. One of them comes back to take my order smiling like it was funny. She started taking my order and I gave her a $20 bill. That was ripped a little on the corner. She stated it She couldn't take my $20 bill and if I had another one. I said no So I gave her my hundred dollar bill. She then said that she couldn't take a $100 bill.I laughed and she said that she was the team lead. Then I told her we'll tell the owner that he will be hearing from my review. As I was looking for my card in my purse. She grabbed a roll of tickets that were sitting on top of the counter and slammed it on the counter. She reminded me that she was a team lead. And she couldn't take the money it would be on her. I told her to let the owner know about my review and her body language was the I don't care one. I proceeded to pay for my order and left after having my food. Horrible experience! I will look for another tropical smoothie somewhere else even if it's a drive. Don't want my Buisness? Read moreBeyond disappointed with my experience today at Cafe FL183 the Davie location! The cashier Ameera M. was unprofessional, rude and curt. She lacks overall customer service and needs to be terminated. The employees are having side bar conversations while making orders. There should be some level of dignity when preparing someone’s meal and just being in the food handling business in general. The young gentleman who refused to give his name, made my sandwich without a mask today August 15th. He walked from behind the counter to the open area where orders are placed without a mask as well. His employment certainly needs to be re-evaluated as he did not show any remorse or care when I voiced my concerns to him directly. As a front line healthcare worker and considering we’re in a “state of pandemic” where is the concern for other patrons and young children. Nobody takes their job seriously at this location. I spoke with the manager on duty where I conveyed my concerns. I was assured that it will be directed to the general manager. I’m not sure if the incident will be addressed so I’m expressing my concerns online. I hope the owner/general manager will take these reviews seriously. Read moreMy husband and I used to love this place. We have been coming here every Friday for years. Back when a wrap and smoothie combo would cost about $8. Over time prices began to go up. We didn’t mind as long as we received quality food that we enjoyed to eat. Over the last few months, we have sadly seen this place deteriorate. It seems that they’ve changed the recipes to cheaper ingredients and/ or to yield more. Our smoothies are now extremely watery, as if they are made with mostly ice. Even when we pay extra for whey protein it tasted as if very little was added. We were also given tiny thin straws making it difficult to consume our beverages. The straws were so thin they almost looked like coffee stirrers. They also don’t give you metal trays anymore and expect you to eat your meal out of the plastic bag. Their wraps used to be very hearty and delicious- containing lots of chicken and other toppings. Today our wraps were extremely bland and packed with lettuce. We found very few small pieces of chicken. It tasted as if the person who made it has never made a wrap before in their life.
