It’s been a while since I have been to El Patio, but the experience is just as good as I remember. When I first walked in, the restaurant looked very different than before. They had remodeled the restaurant since my last visit. Before the inside looked old and dark, but with the remodel, it is now bright and modern. The old chips and salsa station is now the bar area with a TV. Their food was delicious as before. The service was also stepped up compared to before. When my son and I walked in, we were promptly greeted and told to pick our seat and they would bring the menus to us. The menus came and a minute later, chips and salsa (green and red) came out along with waters. We can in around 6pm, so there was a Happy Hour menu as well. They have a nice selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. Food: I chose the Quesabirria Taco Special which came with 3 tacos and my son got the Fajitas Quesadilla with Carne Asada. The tacos were good size and the consommé was delicious! The Fajita Quesadilla was gigantic and my son was not able to finish it and took about half of it home. The Quesadilla came with crema and guacamole which were both very good. Both the green and red salsas were very tasty, I like both, but my son liked the red one a lot. Neither salsas were spicy in my opinion, but had great flavor. I have to give a shout out and big thanks to our waitresses Odalis and Ale as they provided excellent service. They constantly came to check on us, refilled our chips if needed, promptly cleared empty plates off the table and were very pleasant to talk to. I noticed they provided the same excellent service to all the customers in the restaurant. If you owned a restaurant, Odalis and Ale are the type of employees you would want working for you! My family and I will be back again for delicious food! 5 Stars all around!

Looking for a fantastic Mexican restaurant in Davis? Look no further than El Patio Fresh Mexican Grill! Conveniently located next to a parking garage and with plenty of street parking, this restaurant is easy to access and always welcoming. From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted with a warm welcome from the staff. I was fortunate enough to meet Kevin and Miguel, the manager, and they made me feel right at home. But the real star of the show is the food - and it did not disappoint! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was absolutely amazing. The eggs were fresh and perfectly cooked, the cheese was delicious, and everything was wrapped in a homemade tortilla that was fresh and flavorful. The chips and salsas were also top-notch - they even have a salsa bar with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. Best of all, the prices at El Patio Fresh Mexican Grill are very reasonable. It's clear that this is a small business that truly cares about its customers and its community. So if you're looking for some amazing Mexican cuisine in Davis, be sure to support this fantastic local establishment. You won't be disappointed!

Passing thru this adorable town & decided to grab some breakfast. The good: We got the bacon, potatoes & eggs & the steak, potatoes & eggs. They were French fries. I have to say they were delicious! They weren't dripping in grease but they weren't dry. So our bellys were happy & full. The bad: The guy in front of us was letting the person named LizBeth that their order was incorrect, he was nice about it & just wanted it corrected. LizBeth curtly told him that she would make another. Our turn to order. As I was ordering she was side eyeing the guy that wanted his order corrected. She was so engrossed in that she did not hear my order & only got 1 burrito on my order. I told her I need 2, she replied "burritos?" So I repeated the order. So I took off 1 star for not only LizBeth's rudeness but the entire staff was very rude & unprofessional. But if you can ignore that the food is very good & satisfying.

I just went there at 9:15 with my friend (she speaks spanish i don’t). We waited at the door for about 10 minutes waiting to be seated, the girl finally comes up to us and tells us that it will have to be to go because they’re closing at 10 even though on Google it says that they close at 11 and so we were fine with that and she looks at us and says “so what would you like” before we were even offered a menu, we ask to see a menu and she points with her eyes and said “yeah take a look” and so we decide what we want and my friend starts to order in spanish and she proceeds to speak English to her, my friend asked for the quesotaco plate and she looks up and corrects her in a very snarky way “you mean the auggie plate?” and my friend said yes that’s fine and i asked for an extra order of rice and beans, the rice looked disgusting, she didn’t give us any utensils or napkins and our orders were plain and no taste also the cheese on both orders was burnt. We then called the store, the first time no one answered, the second time a girl answered, my friend started speaking spanish and she hung up on us after that we were feeling very disrespected and so we called a third time and i asked if there was a manager on shift i could speak to and the girl hung up on me for the second time. I have never received such terrible customer service at any food establishment and i was very disappointed by the outcome for this being the first...
