I discovered this restaurant through TikTok. The restaurant's food, ambiance, location, and atmosphere appeared excellent, and I was excited to plan a date night there with my long-distance significant other. Upon arrival, I noticed that the windows were very dirty. When we checked in for our reservation, we were seated closely to other tables even though there was enough space to spread out. Unfortunately, I didn't get the window seat I had requested in my reservation made three days prior. Interestingly, the hostess also served as our server. She greeted us and promptly took our drink orders, although it took about 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive, during which we observed them sitting at the bar for most of the time. I even quipped to my date about going to get the drinks ourselves. Once we received our drinks, we placed our food order. While waiting for our food, we noticed people behind the bar wearing coats. I also observed our server on FaceTime and fixing her hair by the ice machine with an empty glass in front of my date. After a while, she returned to ask my date if he wanted another martini. I had initially ordered the wrong wine, but she agreed to switch it for me. I inquired about our food since some time had passed since we ordered, and the restaurant wasn't busy with only about five tables occupied. We were on a time constraint due to another upcoming reservation, but the server assured us that our food wouldn't take much longer.I notice once again that the server goes back behind the bar to FaceTime, this time slowly getting water for another table. Our drinks arrived again without anyone bringing them to us, so some more time passed. Finally, my food came but not my companion's. I assumed she went to the back to get my date's food, but she was actually at another table, and his food never arrived. After 15 minutes, she came to ask my date for his order again. Since I didn't want to eat my salmon dish without my date having his food, I refrained from eating. It seemed like his order had never been placed, so we had to wait even longer for his food. He was now upset, and I felt embarrassed because he usually plans perfect date nights for me. He stood up and requested to speak with a manager, but the young lady informed us that no managers were available. He eventually received his food about 30 minutes later, and he requested it to be packed to go. By this time, my food had gotten cold, so I asked for another plate and a to-go box as well. My date could see how upset I was and went to get the car while I waited for the check and the boxed food. When I received the check, I noticed that the promised adjustments for the switched food and wine were not reflected, so the server said she needed to consult with her manager to correct it. It turned out that the manager was the same lady we initially asked for, who had claimed there were no managers present, when in fact, she was the manager.Despite paying and leaving a tip out of courtesy, the overall experience at the restaurant was terrible. From the lack of cleanliness and poor service to observing staff behind the bar in winter coats, texting, and on FaceTime instead of working together to serve customers, I would rate this place one star and unfortunately, I would not recommend...

I was excited to introduce them to 1Eleven Flavor House. We were all excited to meet there for lunch and exchange our Christmas gifts before walking over to a show at the Schuster Center at 2.
I received no fewer than 3 text messages asking for confirmation of my noon reservation. I replied yet to each one. The last text I received was yesterday, Friday, at noon.
Imagine my shock and disappointment when my friends and I arrived at noon to see the restaurant closed, and a temporary paper sign on the door saying that Sat. November 30th, they wouldn't be opening until 3 PM! Leaving us out in the cold to scramble and find another restaurant within a short walking distance of the Schuster Center, as 2 out of 3 of us currently have medical walking restrictions. For all of the notifications that I received to confirm my reservation, why didn't I get one informing me that my reservation needed to be canceled as the restaurant wasn't going to open in time?! I understand that emergencies happen, but my reservation was completely ignored. It left a bad taste with all three of us and I strongly doubt we will try to eat there again after this.
2/3/2024 My friend and I had reservations at 6 PM last night, so we could have plenty of time before seeing a show at the Schuster. This was our first time eating here and we definitely plan to return!
We were seated promptly, and our server brought us menus including a drink menu. In addition to the regular menu, there was a separate "Weekly Entrees" menu.
My friend got the fish and shrimp and I ordered the Lamb Chops that were on the Weekly Entree menu. Our drinks and food came quickly, and it all was delicious! We left no crumbs.
We also each ordered the chocolate cake and it was so decadent! Overall, we had a great leisurely dinner with great service, and still had plenty of time to make our show.
We plan to return and try more items on the menu, as everything sounds delicious and our meals...
Read moreThe restaurant was clean. We were the only customers at the time. It was decorated nicely. The music, although not what I would pick for myself, wasn't too loud for conversation. The new menu pricing is not updated on the website. The host seated us and brought us water right away. We were ready to order and she took our order. I ordered the rum glazed salmon that was served with mashed potatoes and a side of your choice (I chose green beans), but I asked to substitute the potatoes with the collard greens. My husband ordered the veggie wrap. When the food came out (which was fast and serves by a different server), the mashed potatoes were on my plate along with the beans, but the greens were served on my husband's plate. I didn't notice the greens on my husband's plate and I let the new server know I had substituted the mashed potatoes. She grabbed the greens off my husband's place and gave them to me. My food was good. My husband's food was ok,but the wrap must have been wrapped wrong because there wasn't any sauce or cucumber in the first half he ate. We would have asked for sauce to make it less dry and for ketchup for the French fries, but she never returned to our table. We never got a refill on our water. We drank from our hydro flask that we carry in our bag. We even had to go to the bar to ask for our check. When she came to the table, she asked if we were ready for the check, she asked, "Cash or card?" and took the card. She put it in the machine and I asked how much is it? She said it was $45.xx and I asked how could that be? His was 13 and mine was 21. She was unable to figure out how to look back at the ticket so she got help. When she came back, she said the charge was $8 for the extra side. I reiterated that I asked for the greens in place of the potatoes. They took the side off the bill...
