I gave 1 star and I would have not done that is it was an option due to the rude employee/manager that I had an encounter with today at approximately 4:45 p.m. when I came into your store and picked up a order and you rudely told me to not come back because you did not know how our app for The delivery platform that I work for and the reason you could not see that I wasn't on the order that I was there to pick up was because I had two orders please educate yourself or do not make rude comments to someone or try to tell me how to do my job because when I walked in your store and I had to walk all the way around to stand there and watch an employee on a computer and then a employee standing there on the phone and they were looking at me standing there and still didn't greet me for another 2 to 3 minutes That's a bigger problem than why I am not on the order that I'm there to pick up. Also if you're going do you want to watch me hit confirm and look at my phone Make sure I'm doing my job correctly then maybe you should make sure you're doing your job correctly because I've been a general manager for 15 years and your store shouldn't have looked unoccupied like it did when I walked into the store and no one was up front no one was nowhere to be found I seen two employees one was on the computer and one was on their phone next to you and The employee that was on the phone then tapped your shoulder and said Oh there's a customer after you looked at me and walked over to greet me so rudely and told me not to come back in the store. All because your arrogance because you don't understand how my delivery platform works and you didn't know that I had to orders because I made the comment I know how to do this I've been doing it for a long time I have over 4,000 trips in and I carry a 98% satisfaction rate so I must be doing something correct and it's my job. And we/us delivery drivers get irritated at is that if you're going to make us pick up an order one way one time it needs to be that way every time and I'm here to tell you that it is not I have never had this encounter in this store at this location ever I say the name they give me the order and not all they don't even look at our phone. So again to why I'm irritated is because if this happened once and this is their pickup policy this is the way it should be done every time not just one time out of the thousands of times I've been to this restaurant to pick up an order. Please do better and be better and remember why you are in business that is the biggest key I learned your customers is what pays your bills it's what writes your checks it's the reason your business is what it is please remember that and never forget it because without us there would be no you! Do...
Read moreHubby and I were craving sushi and this place totally delivered! While we usually prefer to get our fix at an All-You-Can-Eat place, I’m not sure that exists here in Dayton (PLEASE TELL ME IF IT DOES!!). But at least at this place you’re designing your own roll so it can be everything your heart desires.
It’s like Chipotle - you pay about $8 for just about everything with only a few upcharges for certain ingredients (you can find their menu on the website).
I got beef, white rice, avocado, cream cheese, pickled apple (the current special), wrapped in seaweed with sweet soy and sweet chili drizzled on top and tempura crunch and sesame seeds sprinkled and a side of wasabi mayo. I would definitely get the beef again, but I won’t miss the pickled apples because they just didn’t work for me personally. Next time I would ask for double the amount of cream cheese and get all the sauces on the side until I figure out my favorite. Both of the Sweet sauces were good, but pr bided way too much sweetness together (go figure). The wasabi mayo was surprisingly nice considering I don’t usually like wasabi. It tasted like a spicy mustard. How Baby seems to like the spicy sauce he got -he said it was more flavorful than it was hot. I might get be that one a try on our next visit.
Service was friendly and fast. We should probably download their app so we can order in advance and...
Read moreThe food: the Philly bowl was far too salty and had barely any cream cheese, the salmon pieces were too large to be bite size for a bowl. Ordered the tofu curry bowl with brown rice but was given white rice. The menu says it’s “served HOT” and I can only assume now that this is referring to spice level. There are no disclaimers or mention of this bowl being spicy and it is INCREDIBLY SPICY, if you don’t have an extreme tolerance for spice then beware. They also can’t have meant HOT by temperature because the bowl was given to us ice cold. The mango sticky rice was also ice cold, not sure if this is the custom for this restaurant but it’s not how we are used to it being served. The mango was crunchy and unripe and the rice was dry with very little sauce. Our meal was overall a disappointment.
Our experience also started with bad service. The employee working the counter was busy chatting with two women, taking selfies with them. I stopped him to ask him for help and he told me to wait, then when he was finally done he tried switching to the other register to other customers and skipping me entirely. I stopped him again to remind him I had been waiting. I told him I had 2 pick up orders, he only brought me 1 so I had to ask again for the other. Service is...
