I ordered 2 Carmel macchiatos, 3 maple drizzle chopped bacon sausage egg and cheese sandwiches, and a sweet & salty dozen. $50. The coffees tasted like warm milk, literally couldn't taste the Carmel. Paid Starbucks prices for worse than gas station coffee. Then our sandwiches came up and there were only 2 of them. The lady apparently only rang me up for 2 when I asked for three and have 5 people to feed but to top it off, they were just the regular sandwiches..no maple, no bacon..I asked the lady about it and she said she could add the toppings on it but I didn't want to hand them back over the counter and I was already frustrated that the coffee was tasteless and we only got 2 sandwiches instead of 3...then our sweet and salty dozen comes out (by the way, this took 20 minutes for our food because the online orders for people who weren't there were more important than the people who came into the store)..the sweet and & salty dozen is a specific number of specific doughnuts...ours looked like they just made it up..there was no maple bacon donuts when there should have been two (the maple bacon items were the entire reason we decided to try this place btw!), there was one maple pretzel donut which shouldn't have been there at all..there was 3 other donuts with pretzels on them when there should have only been 2, there was only one of the chips and pretzels donuts when there should have been two...the list goes on. It is 6 different donuts, 2 of each..and they completely screwed it up...how do you even do that? Is making one order at a time that difficult? How much weed does your employees smoke before they come to work? I am so confused why it was this bad and when I confronted them the second time since my dozen was not what I ordered, all I got was "I'm sorry"...no corrected food, no refund, not even a dang coupon to get me to come back...I seriously doubt I will ever come back and if I do, it would just be to order the maple bacon donuts since we still never got any! I would never place a big order there again like I did today. Oh, and to top it off they have almost no seating...we had to push two 2 top tables together to sit down and still had to have 1 child on our lap..no highchairs either. The food did taste good for the most part...just eat it real quick before all the icing melts right off your donut and you have to eat them with a fork and dip them in the icing...

My wife and I originally tried these donuts when they were recommended to us by a local during a trip to Pennsylvania- and we were very excited to learn that there was also a shop back in our home state. We made the TWO HOUR drive to Dayton this weekend just to purchase donuts from this shop and were very disappointed. Workers were very rude and dismissive. I ordered both a Valentine’s Day assortment and a half dozen personally customized donuts and was over halfway home before opening up the boxes and realizing that the ā€œvalentineā€ assortment only had three of the advertised flavors (the rest were all variations of vanilla glaze) and three of our customized donuts were also made incorrectly. As stated previously we live two hours away so at that point it was not worth the hassle of driving another hour or more just to return donuts. The donuts themselves are very delicious but this location could benefit from new workers and management who value their jobs or will at least put forth the effort to correctly produce orders for their customers. If you need your duck donut fix and have to use this location I recommend ordering online so there are no unpleasant attitudes to deal with and also check your box...

If I could give this duck donuts location zero stars I would. Aside from the donuts, the way I was treated and more specifically spoken to was completely inappropriate. I had my mask on and patiently waited my turn to order. I went up to the front register and the young gentleman took my order. After he took my order he proceeded to ask ā€œMay I ask you a question?ā€ I replied with yeah sure not thinking much of it. He asked ā€œare you expecting?ā€ This is completely inappropriate and unexceptable. This is not something you ever ask/say to a woman. Totally inappropriate. Not sure what prompted him to say that or clearly his parents never educated him on how to speak to women. As someone who has struggled with self image/love, weight fluctuation, and eating disorders this is flat out never ok. I am choosing to share this because I hope it never happens again to another woman who doesn’t deserve it. I will also be calling asking to speak with a manager to complain in addition to writing this poor (much...

Well, let me start by saying, the donuts are delicious, and I love that they are made to order....but....I hated that I had to wait over 20 minutes for 2 simple donuts. There was only 1 person ahead of me who ordered 6. One guy working donuts, 1 guy standing there doing a whole lot of NOTHING, and another guy who stayed on his phone the entire time. Well, about 20 minutes in, WHOLE LOTTA NOTHING guy decides to help. I ordered 2 cake donuts with chocolate on top. It took him a total of 10 seconds to dunk the 2 donuts in chocolate, throw them in box, and call my number....REALLY DUDE? WHY DID I WAIT 20 MINUTES??? The donuts are good, but honestly, it doesn't look good when you have customers waiting, and there are employees just standing around, and talking on their phones. I will probably go there again, but never if I'm on a time restraint. GET IT TOGETHER DUCK DONUTS ON BROWN STREET!!!

You walk in, and there is not a single donut out on display ready to go. ā€œMade to orderā€ they say, which is just another way of saying they know they are never going to have any real demand for their donuts. So you have to stand there and wait…and wait…and wait, which you really don’t have time for, which is why you popped into a donut shop to begin with, so that you can just grab something and go. Then you get the donuts…and they are hot. They’re a hot, melting, sticky mess. Why would anyone ever want a hot donut?? So you don’t even get to eat anything right now, which defeats the whole purpose of having stopped at this place. Then when you get around to trying them, they are an inedible, undercooked soggy mess because clearly the frosting was put on when they were much too hot. Again, why would you do that? So you throw the whole mess in the trash.

9/20/2024 Went to Duck Donuts on Brown St. a little before 4 p.m. today. It was not crowded so service was pretty quick. My daughter already knew what she wanted because she'd been wanting a bacon donut. She ordered a Bacon in the Sun donut and a Maple Bacon donut. The bacon was surprisingly soft. I ordered a Bourbon Caramel Apple Pie Donut. Now typically I don't like cooked apples.....BUT this donut was absolutely delicious. Since they make them when you order them; the donut was nice and warm! Each donut cost $2.85. If you're looking for donuts that are non-traditional in flavor.....go to Duck Donuts!
