The great shame of Dayton and an embarrassment to our country. Welcome to our very own Skid Row! This park is the gathering place of the down and out. It’s conveniently located behind the St. Vincent’s homeless shelter and has been the preferred campground, toilet and loitering spot for those people. There is trash everywhere, literally like a full dumpster worth of garbage and litter scattered throughout the park and in the tree branches and bushes. Busted wheelchairs, soiled blankets and sleeping bags, food wrappers. Disgusting! There are empty trash receptacles all over the place, so obviously these people don’t care about keeping things clean. Sketchy people are blankly sitting in cars with the windows down, probably waiting for drug deals. Others are yelling obscenities and pushing rusted bicycles loaded down like a jalopy through the park. A scary place. Don’t visit unarmed and unaware....
