Extremely disappointed with the service I received today. Honestly they don’t deserve 1 star. Between BiBiBop and Door dash it was awful. I placed an order and an hour later my food arrived and it was completely wrong. I called the store and they said they would remake it. 40 minutes later I get a text saying my order was cancelled. I called the store again, the lady I talked to said she was having a hard time with DoorDash and the dasher refused to give her my order so she could remake it. She apparently longer has record of my order? So the Dasher simply cancelled the order and walked out. The lady at BiBiBop had me text her my receipt showing my original order details. She said Doordash was sending another dasher to get my food. I heard nothing for 40 more minutes. In the mean time I call DoorDash and I’m passed person to person and the last person said they couldn’t do anything to help me because I placed my order from Bibibops website. I called BiBiBop back and tell them I want a refund this is about 3 hours in from trying to get my food and the lady refused to provide a refund. She blamed DoorDash and said she was going to call them to settle it… that was at 3:08pm and it is now 6:22pm. I have yet to hear back from BiBiBop or DoorDash. Don’t forget I text this lady my receipt- she has my cell phone number. Moral of the story, no one wants to do their job and they just want to blame each other. I’ll be calling each of the companies until I receive my refund. It’s only $24 but it’s the principal. They wasted hours of my time and are trying to keep my money when I never received my order.. also I want to add, when I speak to the lady at BiBiBop she went into a long story about how she knew she gave my order to another customer but yet she didn’t contact Doordash to let them know before they arrived at my house with the...
Read moreOn a Monday 12/08/2024, I had an incredibly unpleasant experience at a bibibop asian grill restaurant on brown street Dayton Ohio with the manager. When I approached the counter to order my lunch, I politely requested a small bowl. The manager, with an unpleasant tone, pointed out that the small bowl would not come with larger portions. I calmly responded that I understood, which is why I chose the smaller meal. However, she rudely insisted, stating, "I'm just letting you know so you don't expect large portions." I was taken aback by her condescending attitude.
When it was time to specify my order, I told her I only wanted vegetables, toppings, and protein, without a base. This seemed to frustrate her, and she made it clear she was not happy with my request. As I continued to ask for specific toppings, she gave me very small portions—only two pieces of broccoli, the smallest amount of potatoes, and a minimal serving of bean sprouts.
At this point, one of the other workers noticed what was happening and offered to take care of my order. She spoke to the manager in Spanish, saying she would handle the situation. To my shock, the manager responded in Spanish, not realizing I understood the language, because of my dark skin color saying something disparaging like, "No, I’ve got this. These people always come with something." This hurt me deeply as her comment revealed clear prejudice.
Feeling both shocked and insulted by her remark, I replied in Spanish, letting her know I wasn’t interested in eating there anymore. The manager was visibly surprised to hear me speak fluent Spanish and offered to remake my order or provide something else, but I decided to leave the restaurant instead.
This experience left me feeling disrespected, hurt, and shocked by the manager’s...
Read moreLove Bibibop, but there’s something completely wrong with almost every restaurant on Brown Street. When I first came out to the car with my food, I was glad I checked the bag because the sauce (that you now have to pay extra for, even though you won’t ever get enough anyway) was (and I can’t make this up) not even enough to fill the bottom of the cup. Easy fix, yes, but when I realized they forgot the extra things I paid for & also some basic ingredients I got in my bowl, they made me go to the back of the line & wait to get my bowl remade. When it was remade, they forgot half the ingredients again with the receipt right in front of them. Drove back & forth for what seems like the greater part of my day. Took four times for them to get my one bowl correct. If they would have made it right the first time, I wouldn’t have had to waste an hour & a half of my Sunday. I feel like a Karen for this review, but unfortunately it had to happen seeing as this is a pattern lately from past reviews. Horrific experience.
Note: The person working the register seemed horrified at the employees making the bowls after the fourth attempt at them making it. To the person with the previous review similar to mine (a week ago), it doesn’t seem management has had any conversation with their employees of this location yet to fix these problems. AGAIN, THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO...
