Iām visiting Daytona from out of town and looked up coffee shops nearby. I decided to try Beach Bros Coffee. I was excited because it looked great from the online reviews and pictures. I arrived right when the truck was opening this morning. The man who opened it was not very friendly.
I ordered the Beachcomber Latte, one of their signature drinks, and got it iced. The cashier asked if I wanted it with whipped cream. I asked if adding whipped cream would take away any of the coffee flavor, and he said no. After that, he rang me up, and to my surprise, the coffee was over nine dollars. I wouldāve shrugged it off, but when I asked if the whipped cream was extra, he just shook his head and said, āI donāt make the prices.ā Thinking I may have misheard him, I asked him to repeat himself, and he replied, āOh, nothing.ā
I still would have probably let that go, but then I tasted the coffee. Letās just say Iām over an hour past this experience, and I havenāt even finished half of it. Even with all the sugar that was added, it still hasnāt cut through the bitter taste.
I donāt like writing negative reviews, but whoever this employee was needs to change his attitude. I donāt know his name, but he opened the Daytona Beach location on October 3, 2025. Iām not suggesting he should be fired, but his boss should definitely have a conversation with him about how to respond to customers who ask genuine questions.
Also, the prices could come down a dollar or two. Itās way too overpriced for a 16oz signature latte, especially when all thatās being used is Monin...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped for the first time this morning to get a latte and decided to try one of their German Donuts. A ricotta stuffed donut. The latte is okay, mediocre honestly. I asked for three shots and I can't even tell there's three shots in it. They must serve a lighter Brew. The donut is absolutely disgusting. Soggy nasty mess on the outside, the ricotta cream has a great flavor but it's freezing cold!!!. Eww. $6 for a nasty donut. I can't get past the sogginess so my dog is getting the leftovers. Overall I personally won't go back here but it's probably a convenient stop when on the beach for a coffee. They're set up is cool it's outside; walk up. They have a really cool variety of cold coffees. Overall cool people working here. Generally prices at coffee shops are starting to become absurd to not get the quality you're paying for. $15 for a coffee and a donut is just too much. I should have read the reviews as now that I'm going through them I'm seeing similar complaints. One of the responses from the owner was that the donut needs to be warmed up. If I'm on the beach getting a coffee and a donut from your location where would I go warm up my donut? If you can't serve quality then don't serve them. You're wasting your time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn the area for a vacation, and decided to stop by here. The Man Behind the Counter was absolutely rude, made no eye contact with us, and told us with his back that he was almost out of coffee beans. 830AM. Really!!!! The one girl told us they had enough beans for 2 more coffees, and as she was taking our order, the man kept piping in with comments and never even turned around to apologize for making it difficult. Then he said he could only make 1 coffee. We left for poor management and terrible service. The girl was trying to be nice. It looks like in the other reviews, service is a problem here and has no consistency with a lot of things. Cute place and location, but that's...
