Daytona Sling Shot — Attraction in Daytona Beach

I worked at Daytona Beach Slingshot and want to share my experience so visitors and job seekers can make informed decisions.

During my time there, I witnessed multiple safety issues including worn, broken, and missing springs that were often rewelded instead of replaced. Air lock system failures happened frequently, sometimes daily. There were instances where customers asked to get off the ride due to safety worries but were told to continue anyway.

Training was minimal — new employees were given “cheat sheets” to pass the state safety test instead of real hands-on instruction. Many ride defects were patched temporarily rather than fully repaired.

Workers were not allowed breaks during shifts, and anyone attempting to take one faced threats of losing hours or their job. I personally experienced harassment and witnessed racially offensive remarks directed at employees and customers.

There were also violent incidents near the location involving weapons, and I saw what appeared to be bullet damage on the ride after a recent event. Additionally, I observed customers who appeared underage being served alcohol after showing IDs.

I was fired after standing up against harassment, which is why I’m sharing this now. I urge anyone considering visiting or working here to think carefully about these...

There are countless videos online that they have posted of girls on the ride where their tops come off due to flying in the air at high speeds.

They say they have no review system for these videos. There is currently CHILD P* on their account!!!! With so many views!!!!! It’s still up and has advertisements on it so that they get paid for each view!!!

Not only is that bad enough, but they DISABLE COMMENTS ON THESE SPECIFIC VIDEOS!!! Every other video will have comments allowed except for the videos where girls tops come off! ITS ALMOST AS IF THEY KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING!!!

I’ve seen reviews here with people complaining about the video being up when their tops come off exposing them - and all the owner replies is that YouTube and Facebook should remove it if it violates their services…… HOW SCUMMY!!!

I hope you get charged so much money and imprisoned for the amount of people you’ve unconsensually exposed. Including...

Definitely recommend this place! It was an amazing ride and I had so much fun but that alone is not why I would recommend this place. I would recommend this place just based off their hospitality! Every worker I encountered was smiling and very welcoming! I had later on got ahold of them to see when our video would be uploaded since they were having computer problems. The team responded back in a timely manner and was beyond helpful! They took their service to the next level by even informing me when it was uploaded even though I didn’t even ask for them to! They were beyond polite the whole time and made the experience extra special and enjoyable! Thank you so much Daytona Slingshot for the best grand finale for my vacation! Looking forward to...
