My 1st and last visit (if you don't count me taking the order back), they started out ok the cook and cashier were nice. I ordered the50 piece combo half lemon pepper half mild with lemon pepper on the side and the wings well done. I finally get my order get home fix my plate with mild (looks/smells delicious) I bite into the wing and just above done I tried a second one (couldn't bring myself to eat all of the first one) same thing. My daughter/grandson had lemon pepper same issue (the fries were great though) so I called they said it's because of the ride home(steam I guess) I said no its not the outside it's the inside they are barely done and I asked for well done she said cooked them an extra 6 minutes (mind you this is after being put on hold twice the hung up on and my calling back). Finally she says when I called back that I need to bring them in I said I can't come back in tonight (my order took forever already and by then it was late) the cashier said I would have to speak to the GM in the morning, I called the next morning gave her a briefing on what happened ( she relayed everything to someone else) along with my name and asked for the GM I said I believe they said her name is Gina the lady said there's no GM named Gina (silence). I said hello she said the manager is here her name is Trina 😒. The manager got on the phone and needed another explanation then said, I can't do anything unless you bring the wings in, I bring what's left in she says I can only replace the12 you brought back and they're gonna turn out the exact same way we already cooked them 3 minutes extra, I said they told me 6 minutes extra last night, she just rolled her eyes and walked away. 45 minutes later they say here you go, the 45 minutes I waited the talked and laughed (you say nothings wrong with that it is if they only drop a few wings at a time when they only have me and one other customer, even the lady had been waiting a while). The cook (thankfully not the one from the night before the one the night before was clean and polite) was scratching wiping his hands on his shirt picking his nose and washed his hands only twice. I'm glad he didn't fix my order although I was no less disgusted. Mind you the manager was chopping it up with him and saw this and said nothing. The cashier was rude and disrespectful with no customer service skill at all, her pants looked like she doubled as a mechanic cause they were blackened with dirt or oil or maybe she also worked at a time shop, either way they were long overdue for a wash (all of the dirtyness was on first shift) please use gloves. Read moreMade a online order last night for 10 mild boneless wings. When I arrived at the store I was immediately greeted by loud hip-hop music blasting from behind the counter. It was 9:45pm when I arrived and this place closes at midnight so I was really appalled of the loud music considering the business is still open for customers to still come in. Once I was at the counter a gentleman said that “she on her way” I looked confused and said okay? Someone should have already been at the counter to greet me. A young lady comes to the from and doesn’t say ONE word to me. Last time I checked, when working customer service you are to greet your customers (ex. “Welcome to wing stop, How can I help you? etc) I said to her that I placed an online order. She told me my total, took my payment and walked away. Never saw her again. As I am waiting on my food I hear the restaurants phone ring. (I’m going to assume potential customers are trying to call to place orders, etc) I saw two gentlemen behind the counter. One was making my food, the other one was on his personal cell phone, and like I mentioned earlier the young lady who took my payment was no where in sight. The phone continued to ring for SEVERAL minutes, not ONE person answered the phone. Mind you it was only me and one other customer in the store ( the phone ranged an additional two times during my visit with no answer) This business is potentially losing out on customers business and money which is essentially going to lead to business closure. I’m not sure if the owner/manager or employees understand this, but customers money is what keeps the business operating and you receiving a paycheck. Now the food... I have been ordering mild boneless wings from this place since it opened. I absolutely love them. Now this particular night when I received my food it looked and tasted horrible. There was no mild sauce on the wings. It pretty much looked like grease and hot sauce. I was so disappointed. No only was the service terrible but now the food. I will definitely be contacting corporate regarding my experience with this store. This store has always been good to me up until the experience. I drove all the way from DeLand to Daytona for Wingstop before I arrived I called 29 minutes ahead of time at 10:49pm to place a to-go order. Keep in mind that the store hours are from 11am until midnight. We left the store last night at 11:18 pm but Upon my arrival there was no one in the store but two customers and they placed their order already and was at the table eating.
Lucy the manager was doing something in the back, it took her a while to come up front so when she did finally approach the register to place my order she proceeded to act like she was taking another customer order over the phone, which I knew she wasn't because I never hung up my phone on the way there. When she did hung up the phone my phone hung up, little did she know I was the customer that was placing the to-go order over the phone. She said sorry about that I was on the phone placing another customer order. She proceeded to take my order and walk to the back to finish whatever she had going on. The young man started preparing my order, he walked in the back and grabbed some dirty dishes my girl asked him where did he get those dishes from and he turned his back on my girl and looked at Lucy, Lucy came to the front and said what's the problem?
My girl explain to her what she saw and Lucy replied you don't have to eat here, I can give you your money back and my girl replied that's fine, please do just give him he's money back and we will be on our way and what's the manager name? Lucy replied I am the manager and my girl replied the manager over you because that was very unsanitary and very unprofessional of you as a manager and the young man as a cook. As we proceeded to walk out the door Lucy said, don't ever come back here if you do it would be trespassing. I don't understand why she had an attitude with us when we just wanted her to do the right thing.
