Redford Fish & Seafood Market — Restaurant in Redford Township

I always wanted to stop in while in route. The other day I stopped in to get a menu, but didnt order. So today, I decided to stop in since I already had a menu. I tried the catfish nuggets they were good. Catfish nuggets were crispy. $5.99 for 1 pound on Thursdays. We called our order in...he said a 25 minute wait. We placed our order at 4:15...picked it up at 4:35. Food was luke warm at best. The cook, and the man at the counter seemed disheveled, lol 😂, just lost. Service was slow, we had 2 customers ahead of us... waited 6-7 minutes just to tell the older white man behind the counter that we had a pick up order. .. once I did. He seemed to be more concerned about the length of my lashes. And I quote, "Them lashes long enough for ya?!?!" Please just be concerned about that dirty black shirt that your wearing adversting this seafood market. Man didn't even look like he'd washed his hands. I'm thinking like Thank GOD he didn't cook my food. Atleast the cook had on a glove, yes 1 single glove barely on. Resturant doesn't look like much on the outside, but definitely worth a try at the least. Resturant didn't seem clean. No fishy smell tho. Just outdated. Nothing spectacular, no frills or decor. Just a whole in a wall fish market. Decent specials. Fair prices...

I used to come here some years ago probably I haven't been here in probably 5 years or more maybe several when the other owner owned it that was here for many years the guy had real good fish shrimp coleslaw and fries I just got some today I spent $14 at a meal the coleslaw taste like something from meijer's prepackaged the tartar sauce does not taste like tartar taste like Mayo the fries are a crinkle cut and it's not the same Fry's is what the other guy used to have here before he sold it a couple years ago the original owners and the fish does not taste the same so I don't know what they did different but it's not the same I give them credit for trying but I will not be going back the good thing is they accept bridge card WIC EBT even though I don't have that people from the hood over here can use that since...

Good food but too good to be true. Poor customer service! Ordered myself catfish dinner wife perch dinner got home and wife had 3 to 4 pieces of whiting mixed in her food. Ok so I call well they stop taking call 30 mins to closing an now it 8:12. So I have to take a second trip back to the restaurant. My wife doesn’t eat anything but perch by the way.
