I had a very disappointing and disrespectful experience at Sharla Bakery on Ford Rd. When I walked in, no one was at the counter. I waited about 5 minutes before a young lady came over and asked for my order. As I gave it, she rolled her eyes and stood there with an attitude. Then, out of nowhere, she said another lady had been waiting longer and went to help her first—even though no one was there when we entered. Other customers came in after us, yet they were helped before me.
I waited patiently for another 5 minutes, during which other clerks asked if I needed help. I told them I had already placed my order. Then a second worker came over and rudely told me to go wait in line behind the people who came in after me. The entire situation was handled with zero professionalism and a complete lack of customer service.
If the staff don’t know how to treat people with respect, they shouldn’t be working in customer-facing roles. I left feeling completely...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer for five years and have always looked forward to ordering birthday cakes from you. However, I was extremely disappointed with my most recent order. Not only has the price increased significantly over the years—from around $30 to now $70—but the quality has not matched these increases. This time, the cake was noticeably stale, difficult to cut, and crumbled easily. I had specifically ordered a chocolate mousse with pistachio crunch, but what I received was chocolate buttercream with finely ground pistachios—nothing like what I expected. The pistachio flavor was almost nonexistent, resembling the ground pistachios you include with baklava rather than a true pistachio crunch.
While I appreciate the beautiful decorations, the cake itself was simply not worth the price. When customers pay a premium, they expect a high-quality product. Unfortunately, this cake did not meet...
Read moreMAKE SURE TO ONLY GO ONCE to this place and once only because apparently they have quota's on the number of visits allowed for each customer, we went there to have breakfast we order some pastries sat down and ate them with no problem and when we were done eating and left to get groceries my brother texted me to get him something from shatila so I went in again to buy him something but we heard the cashiers say "they're back" as if we were back to ask for free meals. When I called the manager to explain this rude behavior, she started to defend the cashiers, claiming that the cashiers thought that we were back because there was something wrong with our order! Which is a lie because we didn't have an order we dined in the first time, and I guess with that logic, it's the customer's fault if they gave you a wrong order! What a joke of a store. They don't even have the decency to properly...
