Response to owner:

Dude I can tell the difference between cooked and uncooked chicken. Yes the chicken was pink from the inside but not because it was smoked. I bit into it and it was raw chicken. As far as the weight. All your reviews speak for themselves where people have complained on not getting the portion that they ordered. And take ownership man. If you mess up, try to make it right for the customer instead of being defensive. Also I can take many of your good reviews are fake.

I decided to try this place out as Mr. Chimetime gave it a good review. I am very surprised that he did.

I ordered the $29.99 Combo 1 which included 1/4 pound brisket, half chicken, corn bread and a side where I got Mac and cheese.

First thing the total came to 33 dolrs and some odd change. It said the combo was 31 dollars. I think they charge extra for credit card usage. That is fine even though I don't think CC companies allow that but that just should jack up the price of the food.

As for the food. There was literally like 4-5 small pieces of brisket. I am pretty confident that it wasn't 1/4th of a pound but I didn't weigh it so I will give them benefit of the doubt however the brisket was dry not well seasoned and had this weird yellow sauce on it. The cornbread was so so. The Mac and cheese was garbage. It seemed like they use the powdered cheese. I took one spoon and I was done. The chicken looked ok looking at it but it was completely raw from the inside.

Definitely a thumbs down. I wouldn't waste money on it. Famous Dave's is not that good but its better than this.

I am including the picture of the chicken to show I am not...

I was totally disappointed. I drove all the way from grand Blanc, Michigan hoping to get a taste of your lamb chops you didn’t have any. So I decided to try a slab of beef ribs, and also oxtails and also your chicken wings. All the way home had my mouth set for this delicious extravaganza ended up. It was absolutely terrible not only was I eating what was probably not freshly cooked food , ( It must’ve been a day or two old food ). It was so tough. I could barely get my teeth into them. I had to re-cooked all of them to try to make them at least tender enough for me to eat. I spent so much money on this. And after all that they were way too chewy to digest way too chewy for me to eat so I’m sorry that I spent my money on your food. Your advertisements are unfortunately False. , Not only was I disappointed but My brother as well. He lives in your vicinity and couldn’t wait to try your food because it is a rare occasion we see barbecued-beef of any kind or lamb as we do not eat pork so we were very happy to find a place that didn’t cater to pork. Sadly what we paid for might as well had been pork!

Sad in Grand...

we supplied big reds bbq pit with hickory wood for cooking for over a year, and every time the order was complete, getting payment was an issue. conveniently, he would not be present upon delivery, and we would have to chase down payment, sometimes for weeks, and one time, it was until the next order was delivered, before payment was made. he even used 'the check is in the mail' excuse, and it wasn't. shame on us for taking so long, but we instituted an electronic payment system, and same as cash pricing, to remedy the situation. and, on his last order, we insisted on payment prior to delivery. The day of scheduled delivery arrived, and payment was still not received, so we bumped him back in the schedule 3 days, with a contingency day for weather. He was not happy and desperately needed the wood for cooking that day. but since no payment, then no delivery. we have other customers where there is trust built and can be more flexible with payment terms. but big reds never established any trust, rather the opposite. WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EXTENDING CREDIT TO THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE...

They did a pop-up in Dearborn and I showed up waited an hour in line. Dan waited another 45 minutes to get my food. The service was horrible. The girl couldn’t get the machine to print so they were doing orders out of order when they gave me my order the first time they didn’t have all the order there was no seasoning on the fries, the cornbread was cold and it taste like it was like sugar loaf like a pound cake bread thing more than it tasted like cornbread oxtail was really good and very tender and delicious. The ribs were really good and very tender and they were even better the next day, I wouldn’t recommend them, just off the service because for the amount of money that I’m spending, I need A1 service. I need people to be attentive and on point. The guy had to keep calling for barbecue sauce. It was like he was working with a whole new crew and they just didn’t know how to do anything thing, so I will go back for the meat not the sides but I have really be craving it to go threw tht again

-Atmosphere- Definitely a busy food truck, but after tasting the food, I see why! It’s in a nice area. Not that much parking on the front side but plenty on the back. Smelling up the place with delicious woods and grilled meats. Perfect bbq truck to be honest. -Service- Like they say on the truck, they are there to feed your a** not kiss your a**. No nonsense service but they are accurate, professional, and handle the business at hand. -Food- I was skeptical about the food and the prices. Especially oxtail. I know oxtail is expensive but it’s also hard to master. THEY HAVE MASTERED IT! I easily spent $200 at this truck and I wasn’t the only one, but it’s for good reason. This dude knows what he is doing and is my new go to Halal bbq spot! Food truck rating 4.5/5 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 definitely recommend!

I wasn't with my family and got a 1/4 chicken dinner for Christmas. Really nice, down to earth folks. Service was great. Food was fresh and tender. The BBQ and Smokey flavor wasn't over powering and gave good flavor. I'm a fan of sweet cornbread.. really good. But the best? They said send anyone or come get a chicken dinner if I know anyone in need today. No questions asked, just come up and tell them how many people. You have to love local businesses that give back on the holidays. Unfortunately, they had no potatoes. I can't wait to try a loaded potato next time.
