I dont usually do this but I HAD to. I have been going to this Tims for years, especially when I worked across the street on the old Andiamos. The drinks were pretty good as per usual, but today the service was bad. We waited around 7 minutes for someone to take our order, and they didn't even come to us we had to ask them. I completely understand that they were busy, however while everyone was working I noticed that one of the employees (I didn't catch her name but she was an overweight Caucasian lady with a male haircut) wasn't doing anything, she was just kinda standing around. So I then proceeded to inform her "Can you take our order we have been waiting for like 5 minutes." She then aggressively threw an empty box on the counter and slammed her cash register and asked me and my boys what we wanted to drink. We put in our orders and as we did she would tap her computer hard as hell. Like what are you trynna prove kid? Im just a soldier looking to treat my guys with some coffee. I get it life is hard but don't throw a fit like a big baby. Me and my boys have been working in the food business for YEARS even before I joined the Army, and I never once have we done that. Anyways, she walked off to make our drinks, I told one of the workers I don't want that individual touching our drinks she completely understood and was cool about it. But then she went to inform "the queen of Tim Hortons" what's up so she doesn't proceed to make them and all I hear is: "THEY DONT WANT ME TOUCHING THEIR DRINKS!?" Like of course not, who do you think you are? All her fellow coworkers looked pissed at her like somthing like this has happened before. The young guy with the beard apploigized on her behalf like a real man. It is what it is, do what you must with this information but I HAD to speak my mind. Drinks, and a free show for the other patrons I...
Read moreWell I stop here for a coffee and to waste some time before my doctors appointment. I am writing this as I have worked in the food industry for a combined 17 years and food safety is always an utmost important thing that most managers and service have been drilled into their heads from day one. Today while at Tim Hortons I came across a nice young lady (in mid 20's) who greeted me with charming "hello, how can I help you?" Which was wonderful..the part I dismayed was the following: As she worked at the cash register she wore a plastic glove, within itself is not my point here! She handle money, food, touch her ear and hair with that same glove and never once removing it after said touches. Well I applaud her for wearing the glove, one should put on a new glove after touching money, ear, hair, etc. She did none of that after each touch. In this day and age of contamination being spread by one's touch one would had thought she would had changed the glove after each touch. Maybe she thought she fine as her hand never actually touch the food, but still touching money, her ear and hair. Under serve safe guidelines that is preached more than enough times about safe food handling and the necessity to handle food in the proper way and either changing one's gloves or washing one's hands after said touches. I did not see a manager to correct her and this had to be seen by others working in food preparation. Something to think about! They were busy, but still... There is plenty of parking, restrooms, accept cash, credit cards, debt cards, and have outdoor seating, handicap parking, handicap seating, and...
Read more11/04/2021 I wish that I could give negative stars. I work nearby in healthcare. My question is, HOW HARD IS IT to make a fresh breakfast sandwich??? The two burnt sandwiches that the employees tried to pass off to me were just UNACCEPTABLE, ESPECIALLY when they wouldn't eat it themselves. Frankly, the disrespectful supervisor that was on shift at the time of the incident (about 1:00pm) made todays experience the worst one yet. I refuse to apologize for asking for a fresh sandwich, especially when I'm being made to wait in a line of just two other cars for ample amount of time and then paying on top of that. I gave the benefit of the doubt the first few times, but the fact that this has been happening over the past few weeks is ridiculous. The way that the situation was handled was very unprofessional, seeing as though the supervisor ran to the window claiming that I threw the second sandwich in the window and only wanted to escalate the situation because she knew that they were wrong... then proceeding to tell the other employees to just throw the sandwich in the microwave before she flipped out?? Thankfully I don't pay much mind to children but I urge a TRUE manager to look back at the cameras and listen to the way that she spoke to me. People just hire anyone these days. If I ever do come back, I'll be coming INSIDE so I can watch my meal being made. RUDE ATTITUDES. DISRESPECTFUL STAFF. YOUNG RATCHET AND...
