After watching an Instagram video about the best cookies in Michigan, I decided to take a quick trip up Michigan Avenue to see if the hype was real. It was easy to find the location, and I was lucky to find a street parking spot for just a couple of quarters. Alternatively, there is a parking lot around the corner for convenience. After a short wait and being greeted by a friendly smile, I quickly inquired about the best latte on the menu. Despite my initial recommendation of a caramel latte I selected the tiramisu latte due to it being a limited-time flavor and the last one available, I opted for the tiramisu latte along with one of each cookie. The place had minimal decor, but the standout feature for me was the presence of delicious local ice cream from Guernsey's Dairy, known for being the best in town. In less than 5 minutes, my order was ready, and I was out the door, eagerly waiting to indulge in my treats. When I got home, I couldn't resist trying the tiramisu latte in the car immediately. It was not overly sweet but had just the right balance of flavors and creaminess. I made a mental note to try the suggested caramel latte on my next visit. As for the cookies, they reminded me of Toll House half-baked cookies, which happen to be my favorite. While they were tasty, I couldn't confidently say they were the best in Michigan; perhaps the best in Dearborn.

I ate these cookies last month at a get together at UMMA and they were decadent, irresistible! I was in Dearborn today and ate lunch. I walked on Mason Street and I saw the “Treat You Batter” shop and walked-in. I had a great customer service experience with Sara and ordered a six-pack of cookies (Chocolate, Smores, Oreo) and opted Not to try the Oatmeal Raisin White Chocolate cookie although im sure its also delicious! They have a small Cortado espresso style coffee and 5 different lattes (white chocolate, mocha, caramel, Biscoff, Lavender) either 16 or 24 oz sizes. I got an Iced version of the white chocolate and it was so refreshing and not overly sweet! I would definitely visit again. They do larger orders and they have specialty items as well. All in all this place is excellent and a great value!

The cookies are all freshly made. It appears they alternate what cookies are available, 3 at a time. The showcase for today was chocolate chip, s’mores, and Nutella filled. The s’mores one was well crafted, I enjoyed tasting each element of what you want s’mores to be. The chocolate chip wasn’t the greatest I’ve ever had, but was likewise warm and fresh. The price is $2.50 per cookie up to a purchase of 11 (the price per decreases after). For the price, I might want a larger portion size for staple flavors, but I call it a positive experience. The staff and environment was cafe style friendly and even shared with us their promo: make a post and get a free cookie! Would recommend a revisit for other flavors and to try their other products.

If you have allergies, DO NOT go to the DEARBORN location!!!! I have a severe peanut allergy and when I went to the store I specifically told the cashier I was allergic to peanuts when ordering an icecream. I ordered a sea salt carmel ice cream; however, I was unknowingly given snickers icecream. I have never tasted snickers before until then and was not sure what the flavor was considering I specifically ordered a sea salt carmel. My throat was chronically itching when I asked the employee what ice cream flavor this really was. He then told me they ran out of sea salt carmel and it was in fact snickers icecream that they had served me. The employee then gave me a $5 cash refund for the icecream and a $20 gift card. It was humiliating how they tried to cover up the situation with a gift card. I was not given a sincere apology. The manager did not even come out to see if I was okay. I had a friend with me who can also attest to this situation. This place has terrible customer service and...

The coffee and cookies here are hands-down the best—no complaints there. But the service, especially over the phone, is seriously unprofessional. My friends and I have called multiple times (not in the same day, just in general) just to be put on hold for 10+ minutes, or worse, have the call cut off completely. Sometimes it goes straight to a Verizon message saying the call can’t be accepted. If they’re too busy to answer, they should at least have an automated system letting people know. It’s frustrating and happens way too often. ESPECIALLY when they tell us to hold for a moment, leave us on hold for 10+ minutes, and then when you call back they have shut their phone off. Usually if it happens here and there I don’t mind I’m not an impatient person, but this happens regularly and I’m just giving a...
