Eat at L.A. Bistro if you want to be exposed to ageism and want to be told that you're not spending enough money. We reserved a table for 15-20 people, we got there, originally ordered pizza and salad for everyone, the total was just under $200. We were told by the manager that we weren't spending enough and had to order more food because we weren't spending enough. And continuously kept saying he couldn't have a table of teenagers in the restaurant unless we spent more money. Numerous times said that he couldn't have a table of teenagers, not sure why but the ageism is real here. They were not being loud, they were not being belligerent, they just wanted to charge us more. They said when there's a large group it's automatically $20 a person and served family style, but none of this was mentioned until AFTER we ordered, when I asked why I wasn't told that when I reserved the table, he told me to not tell him how to run his restaurant. He also said that his friends called him complaining that there was a table of teenagers so they couldn't sit down. Worst service and the food isn't even that good. Don't waste your money. And make sure you tip your server extra because the owner takes 5% of all of their tips at the end of the night.
