I just had the Worst Experience. I walked in, the place is packed. Meetings and conference calls are everywhere. I waited behind 2 patrons and they were offered free samples because it's the official opening day. The cashier is friendly, personable and seems genuinely excited for opening day. Now it's my turn, I walk up and ask for a drip coffee and she says, its ready for you(pointing at the tap), you need room, half and half in the back. That WAS IT. She Didn't Greet ME, She didn't offer me the Free Samples, she didn't speak about Opening Day, NOTHING. She gave me absolutely NOTHING. I go to the table, get a top for the coffee and go back to the counter because maybe she simply forgot. I then stood there while she took care of 2 other patrons and they were offered the service the 2 before me were offered. They too received friendly courteous service, while I was treated like an inconvenience to her day. I work in the City of Decatur and looked forward to a new coffee spot, I guess not. And yes she is, the patrons are and I'm not (if you know, you know). P.S. the coffee and ambiance were actually good, this sucks! I was there...

Here are my reasons - incredibly distracting Forever 21-esque music loud baristas: I think itâs great that people working here have fun! It was however overwhelming and startling at times when there were loud shrieks/screams from the counter. the coffee was not to my liking. I got an iced latte. It was sour at first taste which I donât like w coffees - though the after taste was nice! the chai tasted like cinnamon and water (this was a hot chai latte w oat milk)
Pros: beautiful space w natural light and lots of outlets though the limited chairs and tables fill up fast
I will probably not be back since I didnât find anything unique or eye catching here that would make it feel like a coffee shop I would come back to.
Because of its name and the about section on their website I assumed this place was owned by a Filipinx family/person but after visiting Iâm not sure. Iâd like to see more Filipino based drinks on the menu or at least more of the culture outside of the name - that would make me want...
Read moreThis place is a gem! Cute, colorful, and cozy. I always order iced lattes with oatmilk, sometimes changing up the syrup flavors. They have house-made syrups, my favorites being vanilla and lavender sage.
The baristas are kind and helpful, and will help you figure out what to order if youâre not sure of what you want. Service has always been fast. Thereâs plenty of seating, including swivel chairs, benches, bar counters and stools, etc. Near the counter where you order has straws, napkins, simple syrup, etc. Opo stays very clean, whether it is packed to the brim with customers, or quiet. Same with the bathrooms. They are fully stocked and even have feminine products!
Past the bathrooms is a beautiful patio decorated with live plants and plenty of seating as well. They also have a âroasting roomâ where they teach classes about coffee roasting.
On every occasion I have visited, it has been very quiet, with customers usually reading and working remotely on their computers. They have two outdoor tables in the front, 4...
