Very nice park with an awesome community garden and historic info. Plenty of seating, tables with umbrellas for eating or resting. A lot of shops. A pleasant surprise to run into and enjoy. The only down side is the homeless hang around and while that does not bother me what so ever and do not bother anyone the trash that is left behind is crazy. If you really like beer, the Brick Store has a really interesting selection and highly competent staff. If you like healthy lunch, Souper Jenny's is just perfect. I really love SOS Victory as a place to have a drink and a snack, and they have decent wifi if you need to get some work done. The only problem which I know that that the owners of the square can’t fix is people’s attitude towards the middle and high schoolers coming there after school. A lot of people look at us weird and give us side eyes when we are just trying to have fun with our friends after school. So that’s the only thing but it’s not controllable.
