Very nice park with an awesome community garden and historic info. Plenty of seating, tables with umbrellas for eating or resting. A lot of shops. A pleasant surprise to run into and enjoy. The only down side is the homeless hang around and while that does not bother me what so ever and do not bother anyone the trash that is left behind is crazy. Its obvious that its not tourists or visitors trash bc its mainly books and clothes, clothing irons, dirty clothes, and rando trash left in heaping piles. A side from that one thing a...

Beautiful area and wonderful shops. I'd first recommend the art shop across from Java Monkey, and the Little Shop of Stories. If you really like beer, the Brick Store has a really interesting selection and highly competent staff. If you like healthy lunch, Souper Jenny's is just perfect. I really love SOS Victory as a place to have a drink and a snack, and they have decent wifi if you need to get some work done. The square itself is beautiful, and the Marta station in the center of it got a big remodel a few years ago, so it's...

I love the square especially since I go to Saint Thomas more catholic school. It’s a decent walk but the square is really nice and clean. The only problem which I know that that the owners of the square can’t fix is people’s attitude towards the middle and high schoolers coming there after school. A lot of people look at us weird and give us side eyes when we are just trying to have fun with our friends after school. So that’s the only thing but it’s not controllable. Anyways I have no other problem...

The city is located approximately 5 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta and shares its western border with both the city of Atlanta and unincorporated DeKalb County. The Decatur Square is very beautiful..lots of restaurants around..good place to walk.. enjoy with your friends and family..well maintained..neat and clean streets..there are many eateries to visit and so much room for the kiddos to run around..

Super cute collection of restaurants and stores. There is something for everyone here including a bar, sushi, Mexican food, ice cream, a corner store and more. Normally you will need to pay for parking and keep in mind there is a homeless population in the area so you may see quite a bit of homeless people. If that doesn’t bother you, then rock on. There are also a few nice places to take pics over here.
