This place is awesome. I’ve been here with multiple friends and even my family. Each time they have been consistent! The tacos are flavorful and they have many options to choose from. My personal favorites are the tinga (chicken) and carne asada tacos. The are just absolutely tasty and fantastic. These are authentic street tacos so if your looking for tacos with a lot of extras on top this is not the place. They do have sopes that have more condiments, ingredients than the tacos.
I’ve also had the churros and the ice cream and they are both really really great! The ice cream is homemade and it has just the right level of consistency and flavor. I’ve only had the chocolate flavor and it’s great.
The shop is super cute with paintings and lots of wonderful colors and decorations all through out.
The staff are nice and helpful and they keep the entire store in order and are quick to get you your food. I’m so glad they moved into the space, they are exactly what this street needed! Thank...
Read moreTried this place because my favorite taco place is closed on Sundays and I couldn't beat the craving. Well I should've saved my money for tomorrow or made sure to stay out of the gentrified side of town. The food here is definitely not worth the price tag. The menu says one price and then I was charged another (+1.50 for shrimp/fish vs the .75 listed, and it's literally only 2 pieces of shrimp and a piece of fish the size of my pinky)! While the food was dry and lacking any flavor, there was more "slaw" than anything else in the taco, then the tortillas broke in half when i picked them up and were chalky. The chips and salsa were more appetizing than the tacos themselves, so at least they were included for free. They're really only worth the 1.50 that they're up-charging, could never bring myself to pay for these again. I'll drive a little further for cheaper better tacos next time, and Im leaving this review to warn anyone who likes good food to do the same!! Cute vibe though, I...
Read moreGood food. Service and accuracy, not so much. Second wrong order in 1 week. First time, it was obvious that the cashier was not paying attention when taking my order. The second time, an item was missing from our online order. It was a sizable order. We realize that sometimes these things get missed. When I returned to get the item, the cashier asked to see the “tray”. ”What tray,” I replied. “Your food,” she stated. I told her the food was at home and people were eating it. That’s how we discovered that an item was missing. Long story made short, she tried to place the error and responsibility on me, after we just ordered $100 worth of food. Her rationale… “they can’t keep loosing money.” Then she copped an attitude acted like she was doing me a favor by correcting their mistake.
Poor service, poor quality assurance, bad attitudes are why you lose money and business. I want this place to be successful. I’m not sure the person manning the register today has...
