When you live in Deer Park, you know about Ken’s. I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl and still go to this day. My entire high school life, every week, I would go and eat breakfast before school. Even into collage, I continued this tradition. The waitresses have been so kind to me over the years and have shown me unconditional love and support. The food is truly the peak definition of “southern love” in a dish. There’s never been a single time I’ve been disappointed with them, their food, or their service. They are truly apart of the community from serving the chemical workers to the bright colors of wild side of Deer Park. They are truly a staple, and the back bone, of Deer Park and I highly recommend them to anyone I ever meet. Unfortunately, I live far away now, but do know there has been times I have drove 3 hours to sit in the diner, like I’m in a David Lynch movie. It was our first time going to the Deer Park location. As soon as you walk my shoes were sticking to the ground like when the kids drop juice and try to clean it up and don't tell you.We were the only customers there during lunch. Food did take a long time, but I figured it's made fresh. The place is beautiful though, I love the floor/tile color. There was only 1 waitress which she was great.
