8/12/24 My friend and I came around 9:30 AM. The lady taking orders was pleasant. I decided to order from her rather than the kiosk. She gets a "5." The system asks for tips, and if I didn't collect my own food and drinks and didn't bus my own table, I would tip and give a higher star for service. The food was hot, but my Asiago bagel was greasy on the outside. The bearclaw was fine, especially with butter and heated. The decaf coffee was empty and half-n-half was almost empty. Later, the decaf coffee was refilled, but the half-n-half was empty. I did enjoy my hazelnut and then decaf coffee as well as my ice water. My friend and I enjoyed our seats by the fire.
Today was a unusual day at this Panera, unlike anything I have experienced here before. So I hope it was just a "off" day, like many of us have.
I would like to say, "Thank you for keeping decaf coffee throughout the day. With my diabetes, non-carbonation, and non-caffeine drink needs, I rarely get a drink when I go out other than water. I am grateful you offer almond milk, too, even though I would like to have cream, like I believe you used to offer. It could be offered in a small thermal carafe to stay cold.
This visit began to go downhill at the register. There was a error when I scanned my card. The cashier then put my phone number in, and it told her, "No customer associated with that number." My card worked in October, so I don't know what is happening.
We were given a buzzer. I was expecting our meal to be brought to us as it was last time, but I walked the buzzer to the pickup area anyway. A woman, who I believe was the shift manager, looked at me and said, "Uh, oh" but continued to sort trash and recycling. The young lady delivering food stood ready to take the next tray placed on my right while I was wondering if I could carry two trays with soup. I also noticed my baguette was the end piece and looked darker than usual. I decided not to bother asking for a replacement.
I wondered where our bear claw was, but the young lady delivered it a few minutes later. I asked if it were heated. Then my husband remembered the microwave.
The food was good. The bear claw dessert was fine as always.
My friend had told one of the female workers the pipe under the sink in the bathroom was leaking and showed it to her. She said the girl didn't seem to care. I said if it was the girl delivering food, who had been fussed at by the manager for being in the dining area, she might not care.
I went to the bathroom later and nothing had changed. I went to the woman I presumed was the shift manager and said, "You might put a bucket and a wet floor sign under the sink in the women's bathroom." She sounded perturbed and said, "Why!" So, I responded, "Because the pipe under the sink is leaking on the floor." I walked away. She didn't thank me or say she'd look at the situation or anything.

Read moreTheir staff at the Louise location is always nice and helpful. The location is busy which means they run out of options and ingredients often which overall is good because they are using fresh ingredients. You can plan ahead and place an order up to a month in advance for orders so you can ensure options will be available. I prefer their iced coffee over Starbucks and there is hardly ever a long line at the drive through or you can order for rapid pickup to ensure it will be ready.
I love the social responsibility their company shows. They are leaders in the movement for transparency and truly healthy options. In January 2017, they achieved their goal "100% clean food made without artificial preservatives, sweeteners, flavors or colors from artificial sources." They are also advocates for humane treatment of animals and I love that they have vegetarian/vegan options that are actually filling. I hope they continue to expand their...
Read moreToday we ordered food from Panera through a mobile order and they were out of the broth bowl (this wouldn't have upset me too much these things happen)
What did upset me was the replaced it with the smallest option of French onion soup only around $3 when the bowls are $11. This is rediculous unfortunately I didn't find out until I was home.
I also only got a medium drink when I paid for a large.
chi tea was weak it tasted like dish water...
Honestly sometimes convenience of rapid pick up can lead to you getting screwed over. So my advice either go to the other location or do NOT order mobile without checking and pointing out and fighting price difference. The other location is very fair about price and I did not have to fight them about it, they did it without me...
