They were very rude and wouldnt let me finish my order in entirety without cutting me off because they were in a rush. I wasnt undecided i was clearly pronouncing my order and asked for a read back, bc I ask for vanilla bean and clarify not french vanilla. When I got to the window I noticed a small mistake I pointrd out and the girl, slammed my drink on the counter in lieu of an attitude. I simply asked for whip cream and caramel drizzle on one of the 2 lattes I order, and the caramel was forgotten (and they charged me for it) so, of course, this time I didnt " just go with it." (Well, actually, yall, its my bf who gets it! Haha, it's his fav part of the latte, eating the caramel /whip cream combo as he slurps away! Lol). I asked politely (I am a server, so take it from me, I KNOW GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE & a wonderfully polite way to address a small mistake in an order, let's just say I'm a PRO at it! Lol) for it to be added. So when I handed the drink back to them the young lady at the counter showed her true nature, I suppose. (This is when the slamming of the cup on counter occured.) Yes, fam, I too get bad days, just like the next middle aged mom tryin to go down to the beach for a day with cranky, tired, kiddos! Haha . But i probably wont go back to this location for a long while. Once I got goin I came to realize that after we had left, and he tried his drinks. It wasnt just missing the topping, it was missing the vanilla bean swirl flavoring and most likely the espresso shot as well. His tasted bland compared to mine and we get the same thing everytime(minus the whip &caramel on mine as aforementioned) ! Every. Single. Time. We are perk members and we sure aren't strangers to our local dunkin in Harrington, De. We are frequent fliers! So just being charged for every little thing which is definitely not the problem, I am grateful if and when they dont charge for me for the extra pump, and I have never been charged for my bf getting the topping. But it's ok to do so, I understand policies and all that. It's the making sure to charge me, and then not supplying it to me followed by displaying inappropriate behavior when asked to fix. Read moreWent to this location on my way home from vacation, just to grab a frozen coffee and a quick bite to eat on the long drive home. I saw a long line at the drive-thru so I parked and placed a mobile order. After waiting about 10 min, I went inside to check on the order and there were many customers in store (with a growing drive-thru line), so I waited some more. After nearly 25 min, I went to the front with the cash register to ask for a status update to my mobile order, and I found my receipt still untouched. After locating my name for the employee, she went to the back to get the order ready.
I waited a total of 40 min for this mobile order of 3 items, including a frozen coffee, hash browns and a ham/cheese croissant stuffer. This normally would have taken 10 min max. Instead of having a pleasant experience, I had an employee argue with me for nearly a minute about how she already gave me my food! I literally told her that nothing was given to me, and she must have me confused with someone else. This short, young woman with glasses was unprofessional. Even when she finally handed me my order, she said nothing but looked at me nastily while I said "thank you so very much". I would have absolutely avoided this location if this was the service I was going to get.

Read moreIf you like Attitude with your coffee, this is the place. Have always liked DD's products and service and frequently several times/week in New York and Florida...for years. Today's visit to this location was a shock and I definitely will not return. DD's everywhere promptly gives you the coffee and then you wait a short time for the sandwiches, etc. I received my sandwich and after 2 - 3 minutes, I asked if I could have my coffee...thinking it was just overlooked. I was bluntly told that it will come in a separate call and I will need to wait for my number to be called! I thought about just giving them my sandwich back and walking out, but I was caught totally off-guard...and I wanted the coffee. I turned and the lady behind me, who had heard this rude remark, made a face and said: "Wow..I guess she told you". I can't imagine that I am the only person to receive this treatment from that woman. By the way, she was dressed in a manner to appear as management, not regular staff. Having worked in NY for 40 years, I don't have a thin skin, but I also will not tolerate rudeness. I know they don't care, as they seem quite busy, but I will never go back....
