Ordered lunch to the office where I was training with a clear address and instructions. My food got delivered to a concrete business down the street. So I called the store asking about my delivery I'd been waiting on for 45 min at that point. The store didn't offer any resolution so I left my online meeting drove to the other business to collect my lunch. The driver had came back and grabbed it to deliver it to me correctly but now I had driven down the street for nothing.jimmie John's offered nothing I had to ask if they were gonna complicate for my troubles he said "I guess I can give you a free sandwich card" he made it sound like it wasn't something he really wanted to do and honestly they truly owe me my money back fully as well for the hour of time I lost that interrupted my online meeting lunch time and work day. It left me with 5min to eat and relax for my lunch before I had to be back on line. Extremely disappointed in this company. After reading other reviews this is the most reoccurring issue, my suggestion would be just leave this town jimmy John's and don't come back, poor service in Delaware doesn't go unnoticed and you will crash and burn like so many other poor service food...
Read moreDon't order on DoorDash unless you are okay with waiting over an hour for a single sandwich. You also don't the option to contact DoorDash's customer service since Jimmy John's controls the delivery. I guess this location has a different idea of what Freaky Fast is...I'm going to file a complaint with DoorDash and suggest that they pull this location off of the app since Jimmy's is not appropriately staffed to handle realistic delivery times during core businesses hours.
Based upon reading other reviews, I fully expect the Jimmy John's "Owner" (aka, either a bot or some random assistant) to reply to my review and say that's not how we roll, contact customer service and we'll contact the franchise owner, blah blah blah blah. (Because the actual "owner" of JJ's corporate has time to respond to each review. Uh huh...)
Well this has going on for quite some time at least a few years and nothing's changed.

Read moreThe food is good and made properly, but I will never depend on this store to deliver reasonably again. I gave them a second chance after waiting over 2 hours for my food a few weeks ago. Today I waited more than an hour. When I called the store they didn't ask any info to identify my order until she twice tried to tell me my order was already on the road. When I pointed out that the tracker said it hadn't left the store she changed her story and asked my name. I'm more disgusted by the lack of good information when I asked about my order than I am the time it took. It felt like she just wanted to get me off the phone instead of resolving the issue. Both times when I called I received a long string of excuses about why the service was slow. I know things just go sideways sometimes, things break, people don't come in, order loads are high.
