I ordered my pizza online, and drove 20 minutes to pick it up. On arriving, it wasn't ready, so we patiently waited. Upon coming home, we realized that the stuffed crust pepperoni pretzel pizza was not actually stuffed crust.
"That's fine, we'll just give them a call and let them know." Being 20 minutes away I didn't want to drive back out there and a quick phone call would have fixed the issue.
We tried calling, and calling, and calling. The phone would ring about 10-20 times, then someone would take the phone off the hook and HANG UP on us. We tried this for about 20 minutes until the phone was eventually taken off the hook and we were greeted with only a busy signal. We decided to call other Little Caesars in the area (such as Bear's) who would answer their phones right away. I asked if they could confirm the number for this one and they did: it seemed that one store was simply not answering their phone. Growing frustrated, I decided to drive up there.
I walked into a busy Little Caesars around 6:06pm -- an hour after having ordered these now-cold pizzas and was greeted by a friendly cashier named Mark. When he asked what he could help me with, I politely asked to speak with the manager. I couldn't help but notice that the phone was ringing off the hook and almost every time, the manager (Amanda) would walk over, pick up the phone, and hang up on the prospective customer. Mark stepped back to speak with Amanda, and I hear "Well he's going to have to wait!" I felt a sinking feeling, dreading the confrontation with Amanda. Mark came back and told me to wait a couple minutes; I smiled and agreed. 10 minutes later I was still waiting.
Growing incredibly frustrated, and worried that I would never get out of there, I asked to speak to /anybody/ manager or not. Finally, another associate came over. I also was concerned that by the time I spoke with someone, it would be even longer before I could get a new pizza, considering how many people were waiting before me. I said that I wanted to speak with a manager, so we can make this right. He walks away and Mark returns some moments later. I'm very frustrated at this point, while still trying to remain friendly and respectful. "It has been over an hour now, I have driven 20 minutes here and 20 minutes back, all of my food is cold and hard. Rather than waiting another 20 minutes, can I please just have a full refund?" Mark walks away, and I hear him saying to Amanda "He doesn't want to wait!" There's some exchange in the background when finally a third person wearing a chef's suit steps up. He opens up the register, visibly frustrated.
"9 dollars, right?" I respond, "Is there no way I can just get a full refund?" He retorts "Was there anything wrong with your other pizza?" I reply "I have been waiting for over an hour now, and nobody was answering their phone for the first 20 minutes that I called, I just drove another 20 minutes, now the rest of my pizza and cheese sticks are cold and hard." Mark is apologizing while the man in the chef suit is completely ignoring my answer to his question. He pulls out 9 dollars, slams it on the table, "There." walking away. What am I to do at this point? There is no authority at that establishment that I could appeal to. I took the name down of the mean-spirited manager, Amanda, and took my leave.
During my entire 16 minutes there, the phone never stopped ringing, and the staff never stopped hanging up on people when it continued to ring, just as she...
Read moreI ordered my food since 6:40pm and got to the store at 7:21pm the order said it was ready for pick up 7:08 at the counter with the code number, so I went in and looked for my food it’s not there and the code says it’s invalid . The lady walked up and asked me what I need help with , I showed her my receipt and proof of my order and she said it’s no where to be found in the system. I showed her proof and she told me she can’t do nothing about it and I would have to call corporate . I said I shouldn’t have to call corporate. I would like to speak to the manager so I can get my food. She kept ignoring me when I asked to speak to the manager . I stood around for about an hour, she started getting loud with me and saying you have to call corporate. I asked the lady for her name and she told me she couldn’t give me her name, I said mam, I just need your name, she continued to ignore me and walk away . I shouldn’t have to go through that. She said she won’t help me anymore , so when my husband came in , mr. Ruben came from the back and asked me what’s wrong just tell me what happened . So I explained to him and he said ok let me see your order receipt. He said “ok, give me 15 minutes, I will make your order. She’s new she don’t know what she’s doing” and she’s still steady yelling at me, I told her to stop speaking to me and thank mr. Ruben that took care of my order. Another customer walked in and she was discussing our situation to a customer, I said that shouldn’t be discussed with another customer. There was no professionalism. If the problem was solved the way that Mr. Ruben had solved it I wouldn’t have to wait in line for an additional hour. This is just ridiculous. We shouldn’t have to go through this for pizza .i showed the lady my order number and proof of payment . If corporate would like to call me I would be more than happy to hear from them. This is ridiculously unprofessional. Never again, will I support this location. The worst customer service I ever have to encounter in any customer service business.
Although Mr. Ruben helped us, unfortunately our order was still wrong, it wasn’t what we ordered, but I do appreciate Mr. Ruben coming to the front to help.
The lady also, threaten us to call the cops, so I said go ahead. I have done nothing wrong. All I asked was for my food to be made or to speak the manager. There was no manager onsite. The lady kept telling me to call corporate .
If I had the option to give this place and customer service 0 star...
Read moreOrdered a stuffed crust pretzel pizza with pizza sauce online and called after ordering to make sure it went through correctly but after ringing like 5 or 6 times, someone picked up the phone and hung it up on me. Picked up the pizza and went home and there was cheese sauce on it instead and I was gonna jus deal with it cause I didn't wanna drive all the way back and I bit into a plastic piece of fishing line! I found at least 2 pieces of clear 2" to 3" plastic string/ fishing line on/in the pizza and I returned it for a refund. They said it's the pizza brush 🤷♂️. What pizza place would really choose to use a plastic bristled brush that can easily melt and/or fall out onto the pizza! They didn't say sorry or really show any concern or care when I went back to the Kirkwood hwy location. So I'll prolly never, ever go back knowing plastic bristles are potentially in/or on the pizza. I even left a message for lil Ceasars to contact me but they didn't. I don't...
