A Flavor-Packed Experience at Thak Thai! I had the pleasure of dining at Thak Thai recently, and it was hands down one of the best Thai food experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout. We started with the spring rolls, which were light, crispy, and perfectly golden on the outside, with a flavorful veggie filling inside. The dipping sauce paired with it elevated the taste and gave a delicious first impression of what was to come. For our mains, we went all out and tried the Red Curry, Green Curry, and Yellow Curry—and wow, each one was a standout in its own way. The Green Curry was rich and fragrant, with perfectly cooked vegetables like bell pepper, green bean, bamboo shoots, and eggplant. It had a wonderful depth of flavor that lingered beautifully after each bite. The Red Curry had a bolder kick and came with green beans, zucchini, and bamboo shoots. It was hearty, aromatic, and had just the right amount of spice. The Yellow Curry, on the other hand, was creamy and slightly sweet with chunks of pineapple, potato, and carrot—it was comfort food in a bowl. All the curries were served with jasmine rice, which was soft and fluffy, perfectly soaking up the flavorful sauces. You could really taste the authenticity in every dish—no shortcuts, just rich, traditional Thai flavor done right. I’d highly recommend Thak Thai to anyone who appreciates true Thai cuisine. Whether you’re a curry lover or new to Thai food, this place will definitely impress you. Can’t wait to go back and try their Panang Curry next time!

I had Penang Curry and my wife had Tom Yum. Both were cooked well and the flavors were spot on. The only complaint is that both were very watered down. When I added rice, there was little flavor left. Again, the flavor was really good but it was watered down which was disappointing. Prices were expensive for watered down food. I understand things are expensive now, but you don't get to charge more AND water down the food, one OR the other, Thak Thai chose both. May or may not be back, there are other Thai restaurants out there. Good luck.

Small spot but well worth the stop. I tried the curry stir fry with shrimp and spiced hot. Great blend of flavor and spice. Rice was a bit dry but soaked in some curry sauce and it evened out.

I have been here a two times. The first time I ordered two appetizers to constitute a lunch. The sate was good though very stingy on the peanut sauce. The salad was very basic not worth $6 by a long shot. I was even charged extra for picking the single shrimp taht the menu said was included. $7 for the skimpy salad. It did not fill my stomach by a very long shot. But this lunch ended up $14. Most expensive and smallest lunch I ever had.

A lot of Thai places around you can get large portions from $8 (China wall) or $9 (Ruby thai) that really fill your stomach and about three times the amount of meat!! For $14 you can get a real great quality meal at Saap Lao, lots of good meat. No comparison.

I thought maybe I should have ordered a dish instead and so I gave TakThai one more chance. I very much regret this mistake. Today I went for sweet and sour pork. It was atrocious. First you get a microscopic quantity of sauce. The very sticky low quality rice was still in a plastic back on my plate??? It seems it came out of the fridge and from the microwave. A left over apparently. Ever been fed leftovers in a restaurant???

And the meat??? Where was the pork??? At first I thought I had maybe 6-7 meatball sized balls which would have filled me nicely up. BUT most of it was BONE. There was just a very small amount of pork left on each little piece of bone!! Smth I would perhaps give to a dog. But I would be ashamed to give it away for free to a homeless person. I really do not remember ever being in a restaurant which is such a scam.

This place is such an embarrassment. Check out Saap Lao or Soybean or Kyoto and you see there is a day and night difference. These places are real restaua\rants.

The best thing that can happen is when this damn excuse for a restaurant burns to the ground. Just terrible.

Worst value for the money. The value of the food provided was $0 in my opinion. Yet $14 out of the pocket again.

Seriously if they would have given this meal for free, I would have totally...

Updated feedback after owners response

You as an owner are trying to argue with me in your response that I didn't receive any fresh vegetables, only brown ribs of cabbage/lettuce in my $8+ soup? Your next defense is that it was an "error" on your part that my $15 prawn dish only included 2 PRAWNS??? Is this why you are avoiding my calls and emails after you stated on the phone you'd DO WHAT WAS RIGHT and refund my order??? How tacky and unprofessional. Take note fellow customers, these people are including old disgusting ingredients in their food which means their kitchen is probably incredibly dirty too!!!! I also believe I got food poisoning from the 2 prawns they did include in my dish...they tasted rotten.

Initial feedback I've ordered from this place several times but will never order from them again after today's experience. The Thai Noodle Salad only had two prawns and old veggies. The soup was supposed to include fresh vegetables and only has one mushroom, a piece of carrot, and disgusting old pieces of what looked like cabbage??? lettuce that was brown. I will not be ordering from...
