Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Delray Beach

My office is located in Delray Beach and this is our local Chipotle. We ordered from here frequently in the past HOWEVER today was the last straw. I understand that people make mistakes, we're all human, but I expect a food service establishment to listen to the concerns of ther customers and try to make things right.

I ordered two tacos today and had them delivered. They were sent to me in a bowl, and when I opened it, it honestly looked like I'd ordered a bowl instead of tacos as it was overflowing with food. I dug in and found ONE soggy taco shell, and I ordered TWO crunchy tacos. I contacted the Chipotle to let them know that I received one soggy shell in a bowl of toppings to see if they could remake my food or if I could stop by for a replacement. I explained the issue with my order and was placed on hold. An employee named Nancy got on the line (I assume she was the shift supervisor) and insinuated that it was my fault the food was ruined as I ordered wet toppings to put on the tacos. I told her once again that there was only one soggy taco shell in the bowl, I dug through it with my fork and fingers. She stuck to her guns and still said I was wrong, said she'd personally made my food and put two tacos in there. And that she would not give me a refund. I never even asked for a refund, I never got to ask for anything, I was just told NO. Anytime we order food from this location it is WRONG and we keep giving them chances but not anymore. If you order here, CHECK YOUR FOOD...

So fed up with this place. The last time i went in and ordered i got home and the food was so bad. My bowl was terrible and they charged extra for something i didn't even get. I tried once again with delivery and will just never go here again. I had a simple specific instruction with my order. Spelled out and so easy to do. I then even called to verify and make sure it was seen and would be done, just to make sure. And j couldn't believe when my food arrived they STILL got it wrong. I couldn't believe it. It was the most simple thing to do to just put one thing on the side but they got it wrong. I just wanted three soft shell tortillas on the side like i get when i come in. I noted on the order and confirmed over the phone. I really cant stand them anymore. I have gone here so many times over the years and lately it has just gone down hill. Mostly with ordering pick up or delivery. I tried to be so polite and respectful just confirming my prder was seen and the instruction would be done as i asked and they still managed to mess up something so easy. I called to ask what happened and she said ph they forgot sorry. I said well they gave me a couple stale hard shells. Then she said oh they thought you said hard shell. When i specifically said please just put 3 soft wrapped in tinfoil...so there would be no confusion. Its not that complicated people!!!

Might be time to go to Zona Fresca or...

If you are looking for SERVICE, drive right by this establishment! I do not like to leave negative reviews, however, this Chipotle is a disgrace to the franchise. Not one person wanted to be working there, and that was painfully obvious. I will NEVER return, there were four people in line when I entered, six employees were sauntering around pathetically, trying to look busy but doing nothing! Several minutes passed and not one customer had been acknowledged or helped. I asked the girl in front of me if anyone had been helped since she arrived? Guess what? “no”, it took me over 20 minutes to get a vegetarian burrito. A thunderstorm had showed up while I was waiting, my windows were partially down, my dog was with me. The mechanics for my car windows have broken, not anyone but my fault. I just wanted to vent. New employees are needed quickly here. The one's working do not appreciate being an American with the great ability to work!

I must clarify every other Chipotle I’ve been to has not been like this one, they are all GREAT! This one is in Del Ray Beach FL on Linton. The employees all speak Creole no English! I will never darken their door...
