Five Guys — Restaurant in Delray Beach

This Linton location is a little dirtier than the other 5 Guys I've been to, but the burgers are excellent.

This week I went to The Habit Burger twice and this Five Guys twice.

Habit burger wins hands down for service and Atmosphere. However, Five Guys burgers just taste better.

The first time, I ordered using the app and I arrived at this Linton Five Guys location at the specified pickup time. They couldn't find my order at first, but after a little while, somehow it turned up. I waited 30 minutes past the pickup time.

The next time I ordered on the app, I arrived 2 minutes after the pickup time and they had my order, but hadn't even begun to make it. It was at least 15 minutes more before I got my order.

But Dang! The burgers are good.

The Habit Burger also has very good burgers. Way better than McD, BK, and the others. The Habit Burger gets the order done by the time they specify. The staff is excellent and the restaurant is much cleaner than Five Guys. It's just that the burgers aren't...

It's crazy to know that Five Guys has been around since 1986. It wasn't until early 2000's they began franchising.

I don't venture to five guys as much as I once did 14years ago when I lived in Bethesds, MD. Used to go religiously. It was amazing then and still today it hasn't changed and still rock solid burger. This visit I was able to order food as a walk in guest, and had the option to dine inside at one of two tables or the two outside. A couple was inside dining as mt friend and I walked inside to order.

The two employees had their mask, attended us both politely, promptly and professionally. Got two double bacon cheeseburgers one for then the other for later or for the lady if she wants it. Haha. My friend got the same going all the way with toppings. Burgers were outstanding, I got to eat some of friends fries, fresh, seasoned and crispy. Next time will try Cajun fries.

I wanted to start out by saying the food at five guys never disappoints as well as the cleanliness. But where five guys really stands out is the service. I had a mix up where I placed an online order for another store across town by mistake and came to this location instead. When the order wasn't in the system, the manager Craig immediately took care of the situation and made my order without any issues and transferred the order from the other store to this location. All without any additional input or work on my part. The entire staff is friendly and works as a team and even though I generally order online to avoid the waits; my order came in pretty fast regardless. I'm happy with everything here. I also see what I don't see at even full blown restaurants where the manager went around the tables ensuring all the guests were happy with their order and asking if they needed anything else.
