HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT: Toxic Staff Member yelling at other employees!!!! Will never be visiting this location again. Times are already hard enough, we don't go out to eat much anymore bc it is just hard to afford to anymore. Today I was trying to make the day extra special after a difficult and emotional couple of days. We decided spur of the moment to stop at my kiddos favorite place to eat first watch. The only thing I ever eat here is the waffles and they could not make them so I opted to try the pancake which was ok... shortly after having the plates delivered we started to hear yelling. A loud mouthed crazy haired short man who was verbally assaulting this taller guy who looked to be a table cleaner. The tall guy didn't react and seemed to try to stay out the other guys way... I was shocked how every employees seemed like ok he is at it again... I got the feeling this is something that happens alot here. We went from talking and laughing and enjoying each other's company to being on alert... the guy kept at it several more times... everyone at other tables were exchanging looks in mutual concern. This location gives major PTSD vibes and not the southern charming eatery the other locations offer. What a waste of time and money... seemed they just allow this bc I never saw any leader tell the man to stop and seemed like several iterations of the hot head spouting off at the big tall man... as we were paying I did see the little hot headed little guy still assaulting the big and tall table cleaner... kudos to tall table cleaner man for not reacting... I'm just shocked that in this day that this behavior would be tolerated. Won't ever again be back to the delray beach...

This was one of the best places I'd go to have breakfast/brunch at. I usually go there between 12:30 and 2 pm; enjoying the nice atmosphere, amazing food, and wonderful staff. But recently it has gone down hill and fast. Today was the last straw, and I won't be coming here again.
I came in at 1-1:15, and there were not many people, compared to a full house; maybe 10 to 13 other groups of 2. It took out server 20 minutes to come over, and he hadn't come to see any other people in out section, who were there before us and were waiting to order. It's fine, he could have been on his break or in the bathroom. But the food was awful. The bacon I order was burnt and old. I think the chefs cooked old, borderline bad, bacon and purposely overcooked it to cover the fact that it was old. While my daughter had unpeeled old onion in her food, the potatoes were undercooked and smelled bad. Then I has to ask out server 2 times to get a refill on my daughter's drink, which had been empty since the food arrived. And he had the audacity to roll his eyes at me when i asked. Excuse me sir, last time i checked, i'm paying for my meal and i have the right to get a refill on my soda if i want. Then he has the gall to glare at me and my daughter when we give him 10% tip. Sir you are luck you got that, you didn't come by to ask who the food was, you didn't ask if we wanted water or refills on our drinks, and you gave an attitude when we asked...
Read moreFirst time at First Watch. Ordered their Bloody Mary, extra spicy but was told it wasn’t available spicy but they could ‘give me cayenne or hot sauce’. It had no accompaniments except a soft piece of ‘ Millionaires Bacon which tasted so gross like Cinnamon Toast Crunch gone bad. In a bloody? Yuck. Then I ordered the special which was Bacon Brussels sprout hash with eggs. I received my dish and lifted the eggs and it was a plate of potatoes with 2 half pieces of brussels sprout. So a dish that was called Brussel sprout hash had a total of one brussels sprout in it. I called over the waitress and showed her and she said they could remake it or I could order something else but the one brussels sprout that was in there was ice cold, so I had to believe that the brussels sprouts were not made that day, I ordered a half Cobb salad and a half ham and Gruyère. The food was so weird. It was tasteless. The blue cheese felt like blue cheese, but didn’t taste like blue cheese. The Gruyère tasted like that white cheese that comes in a glass jar when you get a Christmas basket of cheese and crackers. My SO had the farmer skillet. Which was so unbelievably salty it was inedible. He ate the eggs off of it and left the rest This place is really close to where I live and I wanted to love it however, it...
