Over two hours of my order, the pizza was like cardboard. They gave me some story about the guy got in a car. Accident told me they were gonna make me a brand new PIZZA sent me the old PIZZA. I called them back. The guy put me on with a pizza guy who says he’s going to send me another pizza. It’s been an hour and 20 minutes and now they’re closed and I didn’t get a pizza. I explained to them that we were going out and I needed my food. They didn’t seem too interested in the fact of trying to offer me a free pizza or any kind of credit. Then the chicken on the chicken salad was hard because I guess it was three hours old by the time I got it I will go in and try to speak to somebody and if I don’t get any results, I will dispute my entire charge This is unacceptable and nobody seems to care to make it up to the customer when it’s completely 100% their fault it’s not my problem. Your delivery guy got an accident. Very unprofessional that the person taking the order puts you on the phone with the person making the pizza .
Let’s talk about previous visits every time I get my food and I order an item with sauce three of the sauce is all over the inside in the bag when I talk to them about it they tell me oh it’s because we put so much. It’s not so much. It’s because you’re delivery guy doesn’t take care of the food that he’s delivering. He carries it any old way. It might be a wise idea to invest in some leakproof containers, so your customers sauce is not all over all the other items in the bag .
Nine out of 10 their food is good. They just have minor problems and left this customer service skills to be able to take care of the customer properly.
Thank You... And I’m a constant order and I spent between 50 and $100 every time I order and I order at a rate of almost one to two times a week . If you don’t make this right, you will lose my business.
I understand maybe you couldn’t deliver the pizza tonight but maybe a phone call would’ve been nice and a little bit of empathy instead of acting like it’s the customers fault !!!!! And this takeout order took place this evening . And on top of it all every time I give a $10 tip no matter what the price of the order is even if the order is $50 I still give 20% and to be treated like this is horrible !
I guess you can say kind of pissy...
Read moreI ate here last night with my parents. I had read the reviews and mentioned this to my mother, who insisted her and my father enjoy it. Ok. The restaurant stated to fill up a bit after we got there. There are 2 sides, the sit down side and the take out and delivery side. We sat down right away, but took a good 20 minutes just for someone to acknowledge us enough to take our order. When we finally flagged down an older gentleman, he took our order and brought us garlic rolls. I had angel hair with meat sauce and it was very good. My father had clams and he said they were huge and loved them. My picky mother opted for the veal parm without the parm. I didnt care too much for the decor of the place. Seemed dated although in good repair. My whole issue with this place were some of the other customers. Apparently Jack's does an "early bird" from 5-6pm.. My meal and many other customers meals were ruined by 2 individual older ladies. One was arguing the bill so loud and shouting rude things to the older gentleman server. The other woman was rude, obnoxious, and mean. She complained about the pizza being dry, smh. She was calling her own friend an idiot because she was planning on tipping. The final straw came when this very same woman grabber her server and said "your discusting". Ive been a retail business owner for 27 years. Here is my advice to you Jack.
Your food is good. Your portions are big. You have servers and customers that are bearing the brunt of older rude people in your restaurant. Is it really necessary to cater to this older rude nasty demographic? do you need to discount your prices AND listen to them berate your staff?! I would have escorted them out and told them never to return. Its not bad enough to listen to this garbage, but to not get tipped well either is a slap in the face. Take better care of your team Jack and tell your ridiculous elderly customers to take their...
Read moreThis is why I've sworn off Jack's forever: "I asked them to confirm my pizza was cold." Jack's Employee response - " Do you want me to reheat it for you?"
Let me explain.
Tonight I ordered a pizza for delivery. It was nothing special, just a large pepperoni. I was informed by a gentlemen that the delivery could be anywhere from 45-60 minutes. That was an acceptable time frame for me so I gracefully placed my order and waited patiently for my pizza. After an hour and 20 minutes I called to see what was going on. 15 Minutes later, my pizza finally arrived. It was cold.
I informed the driver the pizza was cold and that delivering me a cold, pizza 20 minutes late was unacceptable. He gave me some sob story about how he was called in for the shift ... who cares. I don't care. I live within walking distance to this restaurant. Literally, I live on Jefferson street - I'm as local as they come.
The driver offered to call his boss and have another pizza delivered, so I reluctantly agreed. 10 minutes after he left, I called the restaurant and they hadn't heard anything from the driver. So I elected to drive down to the restaurant with my cold pizza in hand.
I asked them to confirm my pizza was cold. Their response - " Do you want me to reheat it for you?"
Are you serious? You deliver me a cold pizza and then have the nerve to ask me if I'd like it reheated? I can reheat pizza, but I called you to have a nice fresh, hot pizza delivered to my door - I even paid your $2 delivery charge. Now you're going to refund my money and I'm no longer your customer.
Forget it Jack, your attitude...
