I was going to a leave a review about my latest experience here tonight and realized what the problem is… DO NOT request a customization (I.e. no Mayo, no vinegar & oil, or add extra tomatoes etc) they intentionally do exactly the opposite. After 6 such “mistakes” right in a row at this location only, I was going to leave a review about it when I started reading their other reviews. 34 out of 54 are that a customization requested was either ignored or the complete opposite done. That isn’t a coincidence. The other problem is the owner is too cheap to give you what you paid for already. I’ve ordered from here about twice a month for the last 6 months. I get a Tuna Sub as a salad (no bread) and request extra onions. When I order extra I get absolutely none. 4 visits in a row I requested extra onions and received none and 2 visits requesting no vinegar or oil on an Italian and receiving a sub drenching wet in vinegar. Tonight I checked the salad for my “extra” onions before leaving and when they weren’t there I asked the owner for the onions I already paid for. The owner said the charge was $3.80 or something for “extra cheese” When I told him I didn’t want extra cheese or ANY cheese, I wanted the onions it came with just with a few extra, his response was “do you think we get onions for free?” I responded that I really didn’t care what HE paid for onions but that I paid $18.00 for a sub/salad that came with FREE onions and I wanted them. I wish I could post a picture because he not only slammed my container down so hard on the counter causing it to bend almost in half, but he honestly added 2 onion pieces. Not slices. 2 whole pieces on an $18.00 salad. Now, remember I was paying for a salad that is just the tuna on lettuce, tomato and onion (they dont offer cucumbers, peppers or anything else) Just 2 scoops of Tuna and lettuce, tomato AND ONION and I was treated like I did something wrong for asking for “extra onions.” If this was a place that was super clean or the help was kind and friendly or even if I was getting a sub that the roll or tuna was so good no place else compared I could almost justify his rude, cheap behavior. But none of that applies! All I can say is I feel really stupid reading my own review. I have absolutely no idea why I ever returned after this happened the first time. Read moreI went to get a sub around 8:30pm. I understand they close at 9pm. So that's 30 mins to closing. Enough time to fix a sub. They were already closing and putting away ingredients to the subs. Which is also understandable. But the thing that got me was when I ordered my sub it was fixed on hot bread that was freshly baked. Which still wasn't a problem. The problem starts when I got home to enjoy the sub, the sub was mushy and soggy. Now by the time I got home it was a ten minute ride. Usually i get the oil and vinegar on the side. But i didn't this time. Because I was trying to be courteous to the workers. They were polite and respectful that night. I only ate half of the sub because I was hungry. So I figured I would bring the sub back the next day to be accommodated to a fresh half. Because it was no way I could enjoy the soggy sub. The problem starts when I go back to return the sub with a receipt. The manager Jasmine tells me they have a rule about returning subs. I wasn't asking for my money back. I just wanted a fresher sub with better bread. She refused to give me a new sub or to even care about my concerns. And even threatened to call the police on me. Read moreWish I could give this place zero stars. Worst experience with their staff. I have ordered from here many times and always have terrible customer service. I always try again because I love the sandwiches. I ordered off uber eats because I'm at work. I got my order and it was covered in MAYO. I ordered no mayo and added in the notes no mayo. Luckily uber refunded me but I lost out on the driver tip. I drove to this store to get a new sandwich and explained what happened and they basically rolled their eyes and were like "okay but you're paying for a new one right?" Not even a sorry for messing up my sandwich! Then they made my new one and I basically had to ask 3 times for her to put the bacon on my club sandwich (it comes with bacon). The girl then finished my sandwich didnt even look me in the eye and dropped it next to the register and walked away while the other girl rung me up. Even worse they also messed up an order of someone in front of me and gave him a hard time about removing the cheese when they made the sandwich wrong.
