Took my daughter there for lunch because she recommended it. Sat at the bar, ordered our food, then smelled a scent of bleach so I asked the bartender if we could move to a table because of the smell of bleach and she said that would be fine. Sat at a table thinking the smell of bleach had something to do with the bathroom that was pretty close to the bar. I went into the bathroom to wash my hands and when I came out I smelled the bleach again and it was much more obvious. I then realized that they use a bleach dilution to setup for the next party. With all of the disinfectants you can choose to prep tables, bleach has to be the worst choice. Yes it's a great disinfectant but not in an area where you serve food. So, because we switched seats there was a miscommunication between the bartender and the waitress we sat and waited for 30 minutes before the manager said to the waitress, hey, what's going on with table 5. The waitress went into the kitchen to see what was going on and returned to our table and said, oh, I just checked on your food and it will be out shortly. The food came out seconds later and the fries were cold, I mean cold. I ordered the $19 steak sandwich that was little pieces of steak smothered in caramelized onions and mushrooms covering the very small serving of sliced steak (pathetic). Because our food was probably sitting there for who knows how long, the fries were cold and the toasted bread on the steak sandwich was hard as a rock. I removed the tops of the bread and just ate the so called steak sandwich with just the bottom half's. The sandwich was gone in six bites. The server was nice enough to bring out a new order of fries (5 minutes later) but by that time I was already done. For me, it was a...
Read moreI went to Lulu's again. A group of four on a monday at 2PM. It was half full so we got a table right away. We all ordered the same thing as last time. I want to try diferent meals but enjoyed my Falafel Burger last time I wanted it again. Everything was as good as our first time.
First Review; Walking past Lulu’s last week it looked interesting and everyone seemed to be enjoying themself. We went to Lulu’s on a Friday around 3PM and there were only a couple of tables with people eating.
I ordered the Falafel Burger (homemade falafel patty, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, tahini vinaigrette), my wife order the Buddha Bowl (Quinoa, Sweet Potato, Chickpeas, Baby Kale, Avocado) and my mother ordered Fried Chicken Sandwich (crispy fried chicken, Korean style, sweet chili, toasted sesame bun). We all enjoyed our meals and would order the same things again. I would like to go earlier and try the breakfast burrito.
I ordered a margarita with One With LIfe tequila. Like everything else we had it was perfect. My wife tasted my drink and ordered one for herself. Their tequila selection is great with many of our favorite tequilas like OWL.
Our server was friendly and efficient. She came over to check on us throughout our meal. We didn’t have any leftovers. The size of our meals...
Read moreHad the pleasure of going to this restaurant yesterday. Caolan, from Ireland, accent in all, was our server. He was truly a delight. Caolan helped us make excellent choices for the type of food that we wanted and would like. He also made a recommendation for dinner that we’re going to tonight. I have to admit the food was excellent. I had I believe it’s called the bang bang shrimp? And my husband had the New York strip. We shared each other‘s dishes. The shrimp taco was very interesting and tasty. I will say it was a tad bit spicy. So if that’s not your liking find out if they can make it less spicy. I didn’t ask for that so I don’t know if they offer that. My husband’s New York strip was ordered, medium rare and was so tender and tasty. I think you could’ve cut it with a fork. We loved the food so much so that if we stay long enough in this area, we will go again. The only minor complaint that I have, that really is technically not the restaurants fault, is we ate outside and it was a little bit buggy. It wasn’t that bad but a “little” more annoying to my husband than to me. maybe the bugs just liked my husband more than me 🤭 All that aside, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. I truly think that you will like the cuisine. Including...
