This message is for Brian, the store manager. I was completely disrespected and treated like my business was more of a bother from 2 of your employees. I placed an order through the app and selected the option for curbside delivery upon arrival. Once I arrived, I parked in front and turned my hazards on as instructed. The girl at the counter stared at me for a few minutes and so I waved my phone at her to let her know I was waiting. She waived me in and proceeded to walk to the back and clock out. Next a very rude guy (with a tattoo on his left forearm) came to the front, asked for my order info and grabbed my order. I asked why the order wasn’t brought out and he said the store was no longer bringing orders out to customers as of a week ago. I asked why the app offered that option, he shrugged his shoulders and said he didn’t know and just started on a new order again stating they were no longer walking orders out to customers. He then proceeded to berate me about being parked in the front handicap spot (my mistake). Marcus (supervisor?) came out next and made eye contact and tried to smooth the situation over. Marcus was very calm and attentive to my frustrations. I suggested that some signage in the window indicating there is no longer curbside service would help let customers know of the change, or better yet, not have that option online. Read moreI am actually quite sad and disappointed to leave such a poor review. The cashier was polite and attentive, the back of house staff were pleasant and cordial, and even the pizza exceeded our expectations. But. While waiting, (6pm 10/10/2022) a roughly 5' 8", 30ish, bearded delivery driver stormed into the waiting area and not only complained about his last delivery, but also loudly swore for all to hear; unashamedly exclaiming his desire to quit and walk out. Major kudos to the staff working the register, you didn't have to deescalate the situation, but I greatly appreciated the fact you did. Even with all of this being said, to me it still isn't enough to write a bad review. Everyone has rough days, I understand and have compassion for this. However, I do not have any understanding nor compassion for the delivery driver after witnessing him turning tail to his coworker that stood up to him and making the universal deregatory hand motions for the mentally handicapped. I don’t understand why there is a system that offers you a free pizza if a pizza is not brought out to you within a certain amount of time just for a manager to pause it and claim the system isn’t working well which it notified me it was running properly and I saw time ticking away until she paused it and did not bring it out in time. I mentioned this to her and told her I was watching the timer the whole time and I could see that it was paused for three minutes, it explained to me that if I didn’t receive the pizza by 6:56 I would receive a free pizza and she handed me the pizza at 6:57 and claimed that it was still in the green. She then turned around and went inside and ignored the fact that I was talking to her.
