Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Delta Charter Township

We recently moved to the East Lansing area. My wife and I still appreciate the unique flavor of the chicken they make, but I just have serious problems with their customer service. I used their drive through three times for the past couple of months. The front line staff here were...extremely grumpy. For instance, yesterday, the cashier lady handed me a board to sign my credit card receipt. I signed it and handed it over. The lady yelled, "you have to get your card in the back" with a very condescending tone. Okay, we make mistakes and the card was well hidden behind the receipt. First, I wasn't even informed where my card was and second, what do you truly accomplish when you yell like that to your customer? So I replied, "well you didn't tell me that." and instantly, the cashier lady gave me a death glare. She kept starring at me like I should leave. No greetings and no goodbyes. Can this really happen at the front line of the fast food industry? Here's another example. I used a coupon three weekends ago. I waited at the drive-through approximately 10-15 minutes. A long line and I just wanted to grab my food and leave. After the cashier transaction, I realized this lady messed up my order and overcharged me. Basically, she forgot to apply the coupon. So I brought it up to them, and it took them very long to figure out how to refund. It took so long that the cars behind me started honking. The cashier brought 2 other people to figure stuff out. While these people were figuring out how to refund, behind the closed drive-through window, they kept shaking their heads and starring at me like I have committed an unforgivable sin. Overall, I really wanted to give one star, but I still support Popeyes chicken. This particular branch really needs to work on their customer service skills. The food is not consistent, it's hit and miss. The menu always has items on it that they don't have and won't tell you they don't have it until you order. The drive thru customer service people are usually rude, rather than inviting and friendly. My coworkers and I frequent this restaurant being the closest Popeyes to our job.The most astonishing thing to me though is that they have yet to figure out how to do it or they just refuse to do multiple orders from one vehicle. The inside is still closed as of 06/30/2021, and we ride together for lunch, we want to pay separately, they say we all have to pay together. We ask Everytime and they refuse to do separate orders. That is not very accommodating especially during these restrictive times. I waited almost 30 minutes to be told they didn't have what I wanted. I had to leave to get back to work because they took so long. I wasted my entire lunch break and did not get to eat. I can't go to this Popeyes anymore. I'm done, I've waited 3 years and the service...

I called the store because it said they were temporarily closed on doordash. I'd planned on a fairly large order over $100. When I got someone to answer, they were nasty, and I couldnt believe how they were treating people. I called another store and was told someone at the store had to unlock it because they were the one who restricted it. The person who answered my call only gave me to a manager after I asked for the franchise owner and district manager contact info. The manager tried to fix it, and she called me back about an hour later. She asked if I would look and see if it was working yet, but it wasn't. I was told I'd get a callback, but didn't ever hear back. I ended up scrambling for something different after 3hrs of waiting for it to be fixed, and I had company close to arriving at my place. We were looking forward to trying popeyes for the first time, but since we were lied to, we won't be trying it at all. My kids were disappointed as they'd wanted to try it. Not your company's...
