KFC — Restaurant in Delta Charter Township

Very rude and disrespectful staff. And the rudeness has happened on more than one occasion. I went one evening and ordered. I get to the window and tried adding on a soda. They told me no. I couldn't add on anything at the window. I told them no big deal, I'll go back around. I go around and re-order, and added on a soda. The original price was 13 something. When I repeated what I wanted, they ended up saying I owed 33 something. That didn't make sense to me for just adding on a soda. I go up to the window. And I ask them what did they put down, they ended up doubling up my orders adding on additional things. They started yelling at me, cussing at me, asking me why didn't I just add on the drink. I told them I tried but I had to drive back around. The price went from 33 to 20. I told them that still doesn't add up. They're getting frustrated and taking it out on me. They finally got my meal right and it came to 15 something. Once I got my food, I didn't even eat it. I was afraid. I ended up calling corporate and about a week later, the manager ended up calling me one Friday evening telling me that I could get a 8 piece meal on them. I told him I appreciate that, but I wanted him to understand how his employees treated me. He apologized frantically and was really nice. I decided to go back up there that Friday evening to get that 8 piece meal. Before going. I looked up exactly what the 8 piece meal consisted of so I wasn't blind sided. I get there around 6pm and it was packed. Cars wrapped around the building. Once I get to the board. I explained to them who I was, how I had spoke to Jeremy a few hours prior. I asked them again, what the meal consisted of, and they told me what I had found online. I also added on a large soda. So, once I get up to the window, they ask me for the money for the soda. I give it to them, they hand me back the soda and told me to have a good day. I was like, what about my 8 piece meal? They immediately got an attitude and said, I didn't order that. I told them again who I was. Again. I get they were busy, but no need for the disrespect. They end up handing me the food, I look, and its only the chicken. None of the sides we're in there. I asked them about the sides, and here comes the yelling, screaming and cussing. Again. I was just appalled. I'm asking my friend, who's in the passenger seat, what exactly did I do to deserve this treatment? The one lady comes out the window and tells me to pull around to the door and they'll bring it out. 10 minutes go by and they finally bring out my sides, by this point, my chicken is cold. The lady just kinda throws the sides in my hands and walks away. Just out right disrespect! I looked in the bag, and they still had forgotten a side. I just ended up going home. I will never return to this location again. I will drive 30 minutes out of my way before I ever give them another penny!

Where to begin? We pulled in and parked and then my girlfriend and I went inside and placed our orders. I ordered the 2 piece thigh and drumstick meal and she ordered a kids meal. Okay, first off the soda machine wasn't making ice and the soda itself tasted funky. I am talking the kind of funk that sticks to your teeth in the morning and makes you wonder what happened at night that you don't remember! But anyways, moving on and such. We waited patiently and got our meal. As soon as I got my meal for there I looked down at the chicken pieces and the biscuit and then back up at the cashier and said: "Where is the rest of it?!" He looked at me like I was crazy but I looked at the plate and said that I had Cornish game hens with thighs and drumsticks larger than this!! I mean literally I did! The drumstick was the size of my thumb and the thigh was about the size of post it note from work! The biscuit was about the size of a 50 cent piece and the double sides that came with it looked to be about half of what they once were. He told me that these were the sizes of the meals and he was sorry I was upset. I told him to save his apologies and realize that I was not coming back there, EVER after that. We then went to the table and sat down to eat. My g/f (being on weight watchers) had a measuring scale that she keeps with her when she is out and about so she can measure the oz of what she is eating. So I had her pull out her scale and I placed a napkin on it and weighed the two pieces of chicken. And shocker of shockers! Just how heavy do you think they were?? Maybe 8 oz? 9? Or more?? NOPE! Between both of them they weighed a whopping (Drum roll please) 4.8 oz!!!! Industry standard should have placed these at 8 or 9 oz with the bone in. NOT 4.8 oz! I just could not believe it and only wish that I had taken a picture of this pathetic meal! Will I be back?? Hell, no! I already have KFC's secret recipe from the internet and can just make my own! So why go back to a restaurant that makes you pay decent money for a meal you can fit in the palm of a...

From the perspective of a delivery driver, I did not like visiting the store at all to complete a customer's order.

The staff was very uppity and rushed me in order to get me through the line faster. I had three items to place for the doordash order and the staff member started rushing me to get to the first window after I had only ordered a single item. Then they did the same exact thing after I ordered the second item. They didn't have potato wedges, even though that is what they advertise, so I had to get the customer fries instead. They also forgot to add all of the condiments requested and they just didn't even give me the sweet tea that the customer had paid for.

I was lucky that the customer who placed the order through doordash knew how the store acted and was very understanding that they didn't get everything they had ordered. This store needs to train its employees better because this is the kind of experience that leads people to not want to bring their business here anymore. I know I sure won't be coming here again as a delivery driver or as a patron after having this sad experience.

I can't speak for the quality of the food because I was just the delivery driver, but no fast food chain can produce food good enough to make up for their staff's lack of compassion/empathy/patience.
